"The Ultimate" 4chan/reddit Rumor & Speculation Thread

I will say that the idea of Rey turning, Kylo being a patsy or a lure to instigate that turn, and the "salvation of Rey" coming down to Finn (or other characters) would be quite a wicked and unpredicted twist!

 

It could be a compelling story but it has been predicted. It would also simply move all the criticism that Kylo's fall will just be Anakin's fall all over again to Rey.

 

We may have a legitimate person on those boards after all.

Reddit user 00-----00 has said he's in the industry, but doesn't know anything about Star Wars. I PM'd him and he confided in me the plot of Jurassic World, with details that leave no margin for error. If these come to pass, I'll start paying a lot more attention to him, even if he says he does not know things about TFA.

Possible MAJOR spoilers for Jurassic World.

Vic Hoskins and Henry Wu are the villains.

Wu successfully gets dinosaur DNA off the island.

The Mosasaur, NOT the T Rex, is the one that kills the hybrid dinosaur, but the T Rex is responsible for the hybrid being put in the Mosasaur's path.

Totally off topic here but did not want to start a new thread for this. Do star destroyers have landing gears or do they just hover? Member in AoTC when the clone troopers were loading up through the big plank from the SD, I don't remember seeing landing gears. A sweet, simple answer/pic would suffice. Lets not make this a Reddit 200 comment debate

 

I believe they just hover. In the trailer you can see Kylo's ship being flanked by stormtrooper dropships, and it clearly looks like their returning from somewhere. If we assume they're coming back from Jakku, then it implies that the SD is "moored" over the planet with smaller ships going down to the surface. You can compare this with the old sailing ships, where the vessel would be anchored in the harbor and the crew members would have to take dinghies out to the shore.
To be honest, I'd like to see an SD touch down upon a planet, how cool would that be!

Is he saying Snoke is Bane? Or is he saying Snoke is Plagueis? It's very unclear as to what ideas he's really trying to express a lot of the time because he writes with such disjointed grammar (still, I wouldn't automatically dismiss him simply on account of the numerous illiteracies in his writing; he could be dyslexic but nonetheless an otherwise highly talented individual). I'm assuming he's saying Snoke is Bane because he has explicitly stated that Snoke is NOT Plagueis in his previous posts.

Well, even if this guy is completely full of it—and I guess probability states that he most likely is—at least his ideas are kind of amusing to read about and interesting to think about.

 

Call me crazy, but I like what CORRI446 is saying. The whole aspect of "embracing both the Dark Side and the Light" is something Plagueis would say. After all, he is the master of the Force, the only one to discover eternal life. This would also support the more spiritual and mystical tone they're taking regarding the Force in the ST...
