I really should get some sleep but all the stuff coming out of the Licencing Expo is interesting me.

 

You guys don't even get clipped over there. you know how much schmegma gets on it if you don't clean it?

 

If true, I´m not delighted by the double bladed saber, I prefer the classic one. Double bladed fits to Maul who was fighting 2 jedi....and it should stay with these kind of experiments, not making it a common thing....

 

Whether Rey already has a lightsaber or not it is highly probable she will not be using a classic lightsaber. Why would she go through all that bojutsu training if not? It is obvious she is not going to use that staff for long, this is star wars not a martial arts movie.

 

maybe because big part of the movie she doesn´t have a lightsaber, maybe she was never trained to use one, and the only weapon she had was the "bo"....
PS: Hey, don´t forget The Phantom Menace. That was a WUSHU movie

 

Or now that filming is done and she is getting ready for the next film they are running her through sword training now.

Kinda sad he stopped posting. We've kind of hit an info drought. Real or false, there were some good tidbits. He mentioned Yoda appearing at the end. To my knowledge, I've only seen that mentioned by @Kyle here in the Cantina. So if he was just trolling, he did some homework. Though I don't check SW Underworld or TFN that often, and I stopped going to MSW.

Just saw Jurassic World. Reddit user 00-----00 is as legitimate as it gets.

He swears up and down he doesn't know anything about The Force Awakens, but I think it's highly likely done one in the industry regarded enough to know of a huge franchise's secrets like Jurassic could have connections to people wishing on TFA and may be holding out on us.

I'll be following him closely and may try to coax more things out of him as the movie gets closer. It may be with it for anyone here to do the same.

So seeing as everything has lulled, I am rewatching the entirety of 'Marvel's Daredevil on Netflix.

I´ve seen all the movies, there´s just Maul´s sabre. All the jedi (and Grievous) had the classic one....

 

The Inquisitor from Star Wars Rebels had one too. I've only seen Jedi use them in video games.

 

aaaaaah....ok, I said it so many times so one more time doesn´t kill me. We think of ourselves to be the whole world. We forget that what we migh know most of moviegoers doesn´t. We are but a tear in the ocean of viewers. And mind you - not all of star wars fans watch cartoons or play videogames. Now the group of people who saw double bladed lightsaber elsewhere is even more diminished. And in that small group there are fans who divide the movie universe from the cartoon one. It is same with old EU era when some fans "knew" about blah blah blah when most people on Earth didn´t. You see? It´s not that common after all. I´m not telling Rey will not have double bladed lightsabre. But I´m certain to most of moviegoers it will be confusing...

 

I'm sorry, now I'm confused. How would it be confusing to moviegoers if Rey had a double bladed lightsaber? I don't think it's necessarily been established as a characteristic unique to the Sith. I could be wrong tho.
