Three certain actors arrive in Ireland!

Well, the scene with the ship crash was filmed during the day. The scene with Luke killing the Knights of Ren takes place at night. It goes:

1. KoR crash land on AHCH-TO in the day time
2. Day turns into night, it starts raining
3. KoR and Kylo find Luke and Rey
4. They battle
5. Luke kills the Knights of Ren

 

We can't even be sure what makes it into the final edit of the film. Some things that aren't of complete importance to the audience's understanding can be set aside, some things get set aside for pacing, some things taken out because of outright changes to the plot.

 

I wonder where R2 and Chewie are during all of this?

It was said Joonas Suotamo was in Ireland too.

 

The guy in the video I posted thinks it was Chewie on the set. I can't vouch for anything said as it's just too blurry.

It could make for some silly scenes if Chewie has to watch Rey be trained in the ways of the Jedi.

 

Totally off topic, but I found it totally weird that Chewie knew Jedi, specifically Yoda, from the PT.

Becareful some of this is assumptions and conclustions of what people saw
i think it should be treated with caution
1. Kor crash landed is that unregistered ship ? why cant they use Kylos ship? or another firstorder better transport...
so i read this a little differently sounds like he didnt want the first order to know where he was going to me.
okay so they wait until dark that makes sense
now on point 3. I differ here he is going in with a plan and he knows the strength of his uncle he is not a fool. He trained with his man for about 8 years from the time he was 15 to 23 .... clearly he is going for Rey and he knows to separate them and he sets ALL his knights on Luke only to by him time if this is the beginning of the movie I cannot believe Luke is killing them as they are still going to be needed in later scenes. So my thinking is he just tearing them up and not killing them. killing knights at the beginning of movie makes no sense.
and i am assuming they are at the beginning of the movie assuming they are on ach-to and havent left yet.
So he used a divide to conquer technique to get to Rey ----i think it is a long way to go for revenge but what ever. now here is the interesting part. This is a man who spent the whole movie looking for Luke and now he is not even interested in attacking him or capturing him. he is using his own men as a diversion ......
He is not there to kill Rey (he could have killed her in 7 twice) he may be there to hurt or punish her and capture her.... i dont know and I dont think any of us do--- so you have this scene and rumor thinks its on ach-to ... okay but we had other rumors that the 3 of them are in a hut talking Rey. Ren/Ben and Luke. So if this is after the battle and Rey is hurt someone has to attend to her wounds who is going to do that ? There is also another scene that takes place in the hut between rey and Ren... as well. I completely agree this is going to be a great scene for Luke as i dont think you can have too much of it since this is not his story and that seems to be why this is staged to begin with...... If this occurs at the beginning of the movie the Knights cannot be dead as there are other scenes they need to be in... unless Ren has a lot of knights he keeps in storage somewhere lol...

Good point but my concern is the scene is being mis read with someones own conclusions instead of the observations

 

It's a good point. We were all looking forwards to seeing a flashback of the Bespin duel/finding out how the lightsaber turned up again and seeing a young Kylo Ren being handed over to Luke in TFA but that was all cut for..some reason. I do hope this time Rian Johnson's original artistic vision works when edited together so they don't have to re-shoot and re work the story like they did in TFA. I loved TFA, I still think it's amazing but there's a bit too many 'a good question, for another time' groan inducing moments thanks to the film being a bit of a patched up job. I really hope it all goes smoothly this time and we get to see exactly what Rian Johnson has written.

I really hope the Luke v KoR fight isn't cut though, it sounds exciting as hell.

 

People constantly going on about this hut thing. Reddit has a nasty habit of biting you backside. Don't take it is gospel, just because one person said Adam Driver would turn up in Ireland. It does not make them all knowledgeable and including this stuff in theories may very well be, wide of the mark. Use your intelligence here. People are are going on like it's a fixed point, it ain't.

Sometimes I sense that Kylo Ren will turn out to be a good guy by the end of IX. He ditches the mask (an allegory to regaining his humanity, opposite of what happened to Anakin Skywalker,) and Leia did say: "there is still good in him." She has been known to use the Force on several occasions.

 

Yeah like he burns it for good.
