    It appears it was. Vader and Palpatine seem to have adopted their Robot Chicken personalities which I'm not entirely sure about.

    I think this would be amazing. I'd love to see how the Galaxy dealt with standing on it's own two feet for the first time in years. I'd like to see the good and bad bits of having the Empire fall.

    I've seen a lot of negative about this "because" it's Netflix... I find that weird. I, for one, am excited! :)

    I'd guess that to keep costs down and quality high, they'd likely set any series in the eras they are currently using in the feature films so that they can repurpose sets, props, and basic sfx. Leaving us with some ot and ST era shows.


    I feel like we shouldn't expect to see too much about KOTOR until after any potential jedi origin reveals in the saga.

    Just my wild guesses though.

    I heard somewhere that there is an online petition going on for Disney to make a live-action Old Republic tv show on Netflix. At the moment the prospect of such a thing is more exciting than Episode VIII (and that's saying a lot!) There is also talk that Disney may be canceling (or pushing back) several Marvel shows on ABC to make room for something else. If these rumors are true, I wonder what this "something else" is? A Star Wars show. I wonder...

    The problem with this time period has always been that it comes off more as an alternative universe then the actual past. When the universe looks basically the same, is full Jedi and Sith who look and act the same, has a republic etc... its just belivable that NOTHING has changed in 2-3-4 thousand years.

    It'd have to be a cartoon because I don't think anyone wants to re-cast Luke - but a Rogue Squadron T.V series set between ANH and ESB has been something I've wanted to see for a long time

    I think Netflix live action 10 episode Star Wars series is going to happen very soon. Within the next year or so. Netflix has been cornering the market lately with original series, and with how successful Stranger Things was I can see them taking a stab in a galaxy far, far away. Unless Amazon plays the wild card and beats them to it.

    To add to this, I was catching up on some Collider Mailbag stuff and John Campea hinted that he knew of a TV series that might be talked about during Celebration. Hmm...
