    Agreed -- this is just a piece of marketing collateral.

    I mean, it's not inconceivable, given the existence of the story group and the cross-channel long game here that lucasfilm is playing (books, comics, animated shows, movies, games etc), that they might treat an advertisement as content in and of itself, i.e. as another platform for storytelling and world-building and clue-dropping. But seriously this is just a poster for an event based on input from some mid-level creative director and boilerplate brand guidelines.

    Also, no love for Lando in that poster! Or Palpatine! No Jabba or Boba Fett!

    True, they may do an alternate "villains" poster. Why do one when you can make two and make double the $

    Maybe you make the villains one even more "limited edition" and charge more for it...

    LFL has done similar things in the past.

    Looks like the Clockwork Orange poster, and the Anthony Burgess' 100th Birthday was this week I think.

    Bio-hexacrypt

    Living thing made of 6 containers...

    Clocks have twelve numbers, which 6 gears would produce easily, oranges are products of living trees


    A home alone-style parody of A clockwork orange's famous logo is damn funny.

    Also, the storm troopers and Alex and his droogies certainly share visual styles and are very linked in their basis in history.

    I think it's clearly associated with a bit of dialog he had issues with but I'm not so sure that "bio-hexacrypt" itself was the source of his consternation.

    Could he have kept saying that instead of something like "bio-hexascript" for example? Inside jokes are rarely obvious on their face to outsiders.
