    I heard this and my heart sank tonight. I hope she recovers so that she has many more years to enjoy being with her family and friends. Carrie is far too young to leave the world.

    To all the dudes out there - which I am happy to count them as just a few - saying that this is what you get when you abused drugs and alcohol earlier in your life: please be silent. It is tremendously rude and tactless.

    Anyhow... Most of the messages have been wishes for her speedy recovery. Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams, Gwendoline Christie, Peter Mayhew, Warwick Davis between others. But the one who moved me to tears and made me smile at the same time was Matt Lanter's (Anakin Skywalker's voice in The Clone Wars).

    really hoping for a full recovery, i also hope she slows down & takes some time off , her most important role just might be ahead of her (7. "HAN's" movie, 8. "LUKE's" movie, 9. "LEIA's" movie) but her Health comes first of course, i was very saddened yesterday , just ready for bed/very tired after celebrating x-mas with family, i nearly burst into tears & it had nothing to do with that she might not be up for a physical demanding role when it is time for IX. I just really hope she pulls through & makes a full recovery....

    She will be lucky to survive without debilitating brain damage. It's a good bet her film days are over. 15+ minutes without a pulse is really bad news.

    If she recovers to the point that she has the ability to speak without disability, they could potentially film her face and composite with another actress. But it's a big if.
