    For me, that is effectively what makes a movie "Star Wars" to me (what I wrote).

    I'll allow in the ST, Solo, and Mando because they were trying to push themselves experimentally in the giant shoes of Lucas.

    It's not popular of me, but I don't consider Rogue One to be very Star Wars because it's not very Fairy Tale, and it doesn't even attempt any version of a Tone Poem architecture.

    And even Mando is letting things slip on this.

    For me, Star Wars isn't a brand or laser swords. It's a way of making cinematic art.

    For instance, to me, "Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons", is a Star Wars movie. Much more so than Rogue One is to me.
