    Babylon 5
    Stargate SG-1
    Firefly
    New BSG
    Downton Abbey (pretty incongruent, huh?)
    LOTR
    Falling Skies
    Revolution

I worked my tail off from 1985-2005 and literally never watched TV or went to the movies. I was pretty caught up in SG-1 fandom right as it ended, though.

But Babylon 5 is my favorite TV series by far. For all you young 'uns out there, if you haven't seen it, check it out. It was written with a 5 year story arc, so the plot develops really well over the years. The CGI is primitive, but back in the day I guess it was pretty spectacular. Every time I watch it, I get something new out of it. There are several spinoff TV movies and a short-lived spinoff TV series, Crusades.

I'm currently rewatching the new BSG.

    Final Fantasy/Chrono Trigger

I can't get enough of that stuff. And I'm very happy to see there's finally going to be a new series that takes the place of GT because, to be honest, it was no bueno.

The James Bond series. Spectre and Episode VII both come out within a year of each other, so I absolutely can't wait!

Besides Star Wars, I also obsess over the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica. The various Number Six (Tricia Helfer) incarnations are wicked, and Saul Tigh is the ultimate flawed badass type of character. The casting, the acting, and the dark nature of the entire series, really appeals to me.

When I was a kid, I was a huge Six Million Dollar Man fan. Another old program I love, which was a historical 26 part documentary series, was Victory at Sea.

I'm also into Star Trek. I'm mostly into the original series, TNG, and some of the movies.

    Hm, this might get long.

    Favorite stuff:
    - American Football: I grew up watching college football and I recently began watching the NFL. For teams it's Ohio State and Purdue followed by The Big Ten conference for college and Green Bay, Houston, and Dallas for NFL. When the weekend hits I become extremely unproductive since football is the only thing on my mind and I'd better be watching it or else I get grumpy. My husband jokes that my first love is football and then him .

    - Dragon Ball: This is probably the one I keep up with the most since it's got something all year round. I play DBZ Dokkan Battle when I can and I'm keeping up with Dragon Ball Super. I won't claim the series is good on any practical level but I grew up liking it. Everyone has their guilty pleasure.

    - Dragon Age: I've played all three games but I'm too lazy to read the books and watch the movie. I've played the second game at least five times. I have one more play through for the third game before I buy the fourth one (whenever they announce it).

    - Mass Effect: Same as Dragon Age but I only did one play through. It's a great series and I hope ME4 lives up to at least ME2.

    - Game of Thrones: Now that the book readers and tv goers are all roughly on the same page it's gotten a hell of a lot more fun. It's a great series that I never hesitate to rewatch.

Other stuff I like/keep up with:
The Big Bang Theory, Mythbusters, 2 Broke Girls, Bill Nye the Science Guy, Hunter DxD, Monster Musume, Jitsu wa Watashi wa..., Sailor Moon, Attack on Titan, Overlord, The Legend of Zelda, Pitch Perfect 1 & 2, and a whole lot more.

But nothing that match Star Wars.

I suppose I obsess (not sure that's the right word, ha) over a few series of movies rather than TV

    LOTR
    Back to the Future

    I actually enjoyed Harry Potter
    The Bourne Series

But in reality I'd say I tend to obsess over genres rather than individual series, for example, I am really drawn to movies with supernatural themes. Anything that has to do with...mythological subject matter or paranormal themes. GOOD horror movies - not the dime a dozen 'jump scare' movies that we are deluged with. Movies like The Exorcist come to mind - movies that make you wonder at the origins of certain things - I dunno that I am explaining it right. :(

I like TV/movies well enough, but I also really like to read. Can't say that any of the shows listed are something I "obsess" over, but are shows I watch (and rewatch) often. The books are things I generally keep tabs on once a week to see if there is a new book or a new movie/show coming out soon.

    TV:

    Battlestar Galactica
    Stargate Atlantis
    Archer
    Firefly
    The West Wing
    Walking Dead

    Books:

Anything by Brandon Sanderson, particularly Stormlight Archive
    Anything by Patrick Rothfus
    Anything by Scott Lynch
Anything by David Weber, particularly the Honor Harrington series
Song of Ice and Fire (about to start watching the TV show)
Dark Elf series by R.A. Salvatore
    Shannara series by Terry Brooks
Dark Tower series by Stephen King
    Paksenarrion series by Elizabeth Moon
Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan
Codex Alera series by Jim Butcher

Lots of other random stuff - I own like 500+ books

    Video Games:

I don't really play them much, but I AM really excited for the Final Fantasy VII reboot they announced at E3 this year...

    Beside Star Wars
    - Everything Batman
    - Middle-Earth stuff
    - Nirn stuff (The Elder Scrolls series)
    - Battlestar Galactica (BSG Reboot) - The best Sci-Fi series by far imho
    - StarCraft - The Protoss are by far my favorite species in all of fiction

Aaand... I believe that's it. In my childhood I did enjoyed Star Trek quite a bit, but as soon as I've started noticing terrible story writings and inconsistencies from the episode to the episode, the whole franchise became a joke in my eyes. The movies are still pretty good but it never gets me going really, and the newest announcement about 2017 doesn't sound good either. I'm afraid they're gonna bury it with their constant nonsense. Disney please buy it!
