"Clouded" is not dense enough. What is so great about "Dense" is that George has managed to layer in so much in every letter of the word.

There are entire threads that should receive this rating. Hahahah. So good.

@Rieekan I watched the red letter media stuff last year, it was entertaining.

Maybe a chop shop is a good cover for her on recon missions against the Hutts, imperials etc. She probably gambles at those pod races to keep blending to avoid suspicion.

A outcast of the family, a brat she is till mom & dad track her down & ruin her low profile life, I guess she gets that from Leia or Han, both genes gained royal rudeness & cocky when it comes to danger IMO.

 

I think the juxtaposition of Rey a junker one who salvages things in the trash and Ren a connoisseur of artifacts. We give rhyming a lot of play/scorn because Lucas was trying to use a poetry word in film making. well rhyming or paralleling has a variant of oppositional or antithetical parallels. Like the both search out old things one for trash one for treasure.

 

So, this just made a light flicker in my brain, and maybe someone's stated it and I've missed it. And if that's the case I apologize in advance, but isn't Rey being a junker on Tatooine EXACTLY what her grandfather was doing? Even if they're not related, EXACTLY what anakin was doing? Poetry and mirroring are one thing, but to switch genders and tell the same story, SW has always been more original than that....I thought.
