Who Are The Knights Of Ren?

Yeah...so I’m supposed to believe that after Ben wakes up and crushes Luke, he ran to the dorms and said, “my uncle just tried to kill, I’m leaving, join me or die”, and there were 12 students so they fought amongst each other, and Ben takes the survivors. He says, “ I’m your leader, and you will be known as the knights of Ben!”

They all kinda look at each other, and kick the dirt a little bit, and say, “jeeezzz man, we’re all about following you and all, but knights of Ben, really? That’s a little much, plus, it doesn’t sound very cool...”

“Alright, how about knights of ren then, would you go for that?”

“It’s ok for now, but let’s put a pin in it, and talk about it later”

“Ok then, we’re off!”

Only half joking here...

 

They may yet play a part or get their book trilogy or comic mini-series but to me TNOR are just another undeveloped idea thrown out by JJA/LK that RJ wisely ignored. Why do I feel that somewhere on the cutting room floor is a line from Snoke saying, "Since the Knights of Ren have been destroyed..." LOL

We're also assuming that the KOR exist in TFA -- it may have been a title bestowed on KR for something he would inherit after his training was completed -- a little carrot to keep him running after Snoke -- his own little anti-Jedi Order. That's probably better than any idea JJA had for it!

 

My guess is that they are saving KOR for the last episode. As Luke hints that Kylo after confronting Luke fled his academy along with some of his students.

I think there is going to be a gap in timeline between TLJ and EP-9. The gap could serve to form a new Jedi order.
