At the end of the last episode Sabine and Zeb ask to go with her to meet Fulcrum and she tells them, no only she can see him... or something along those lines.

Wow, would surprise everyone. And this theory makes me remember The Force Unleashed. In the game, Starkiller helped Leia, Bail, Mom Mothma and all the other rebels to create the Alliance. But the twist is: The Empire was always behind the creation of the Rebellion. Palpatine always knew that Vader had an apprentice and both manipulated Starkiller to create the Rebellion and capture all the leaders and then kill them.

Another reason I like the idea more is because it'd really help give more of a sense of menace about the Empire. Rebels seems to be at it's best when the Empire becomes the big scary juggernaut it is in that opening scene of A New Hope.

It is a kids show so we can't get too intense but I really WANT to be afraid of the Empire in this show. To have a "trusted ally" like Fulcrum is to Hera turn out to be either a double agent or worse an unwilling puppet who's forced to betray the Rebels would really help add some fear to the equation.

I think Fulcrum could be Ahsoka, in "Out of Darkness" , we see a crate with a marking, this marking almost matches with Ahsoka' her markings on her face...
Also, when Fulcrum's voice is being mixed up, it sounds Female...
    What do you guys think?

I went back and watched the episode with Bail in it. His ship had red markings while Fulcrum's ship had blue, so same kind of ship but not the same one.

I just watched "Out Of Darkness" again, and it's really clear how Hera really wants that one crate with the "Ahsoka like" marking on it...
    This is really getting interesting...

I apologize in advance for the event someone has already mentioned this before. I just saw the episode "Out of Darkness", in Spanish (since i live in Argentina). In this version, the voice of Fulcrum, even when heavily processed, can be recognized as definitely feminine. So i put my money on Ashoka as Fulcrum.

Oh god, I hope so. I was gutted when TCW ended where it did with Ahsoka leaving the Jedi Order. So much potential in that character, such incredible fighting skills - she faced up against Ventress and Grievous (as a padawan) and survived on multiple occasions. And the flash-forward to her as an adult showed a character brimming with grace and power, so to toss that away and never to use her again would simply be criminal. If she's not Fulcrum, they need to bring her into the story as quickly as possible so as to not waste any potential storytelling time, because she's just awesome. :D

The next episode is written by the guy that wrote the last Ashoka arc and directed by Filoni. Maybe a sign that our little Togruta, all grown up,is going to make an appearance. (r2-d2)

Once I read this I thought maybe others were thinking along the same lines I was, that it might be Captain Antilles of the Tantive V that would be Fulcrum.

    But then I read on.....

I can't deny good evidence. We all know that Dave Filloni has a soft spot for Ahsoka, and all the inflections and pitch changes seem to match. And if they're choosing female voice actors to dub in other countries, that leaves a very small set of characters to choose from meaning that Ahsoka has the best chance of anyone to fill the roll. Maybe she's teamed up with the Organa's and she travels with their personal ship and ships captain(Antilles) just like Leia was in ANH.

The chance it's Ahsoka is very big I think...Bail and Ahsoka knew each other during the clone wars, so she's probably in the rebellion...
But in "Droids in Distress" the Ghost docks to the Tantive IV , and in "Gathering Forces" , The Ghost docked with the same type of ship (corellian blockade runner) but this ship has blue markings, unlike the Tantive IV which has red markings...

Just checked the end credits, no-one's listed as the voice of Fulcrum there, either.

Here's a theory! Fulcrum - means a pivot point or BALANCE point. One of the last things said by Obi Wan when he was fighting Anakin was:

"You were the chosen one! You were supposed to destroy the Sith, not join them! Bring BALANCE to the Force, not leave it in darkness..."

What if Obi Wan feels responsible for the Empire and decides to aid the Rebellion without blowing his cover on Tatooine? He wants to restore balance himself. He had plenty of contacts even before the Clone Wars as seen in Attack of the Clones when trying to find out about the dart. There are a lot of space pirates and scum on Tatooine that could provide information for a price or just because they are dumb enough to fall for a Jedi Mind Trick or two.

    Untitled.jpg

Plus, how else do you try and communicate with surviving Jedi, but with a symbol that they may understand.

There are so many possible reasons for the name Fulcrum - bear in mind that it just may be a name chosen because "it sounds cool". But yeah, I agree with you that it's more likely that it's been chosen because it means the person is pivotal to the entire rebellion (I'm hoping, then, that it's not a self-appointed name, otherwise that'd be incredibly arrogant) and therefore means that they are incredibly significant to the overall story. However, whether that is because of what they can do (in terms of Force use like Ahsoka or Galen Marek, or political sway and influence like Leia or Bail) or what information they have (an insider leaking info or someone who has stolen / copied plans to something like Ventress) remains to be seen. I like how you've tried to connect the dots with the image above, but I have to say that this is still first and foremost a kids' show, so I suspect the symbol refers to a concept more simple than that, like the Ahsoka link. :)

I don't think the identity of Fulcrum would be such a "thing" on the show if the reveal wasn't supposed to have impact. It's obviously someone in the SW universe who is recognizable and important. Bail Organa is too obvious because we already know he's involved. Leia is too young (although it WOULD be cool to see her taking such a major role at such an early age, and would help build her as a strong leader and oblivious force user)

I'm firmly standing by the notion it's Ahsoka.

Although Hondo would be cool. Ventress too.

But it's Ahsoka, and pretty obvious if you really think about all of the factors at work.

But the good thing about that is the fact that, despite it being quite obvious if it does work out to be Ahsoka, most of us wouldn't be disappointed with the outcome. Mind you, it's been 15 years since AotC, so she'll most likely look like her future flash-forward self from back in Season 3. That's also a long time ago - I wonder if she'll end up with her own mini-series? :D

I am torn between Ahsoka and someone completely else, but don't know who.
Obi-wan is building sand castles on Tatooine, Yoda is friends with lizards and snakes on Dagobah, Lando is smuggling and playing cards with Han somwhere,
Bail in my opinion is not Fulcrum, but he can be connected to him and support his activities as he aknowledges the crew of Ghost and aids the anti-empire resistance.
Cham Syndulla, maybe, he is Hera's father (or relative?) so I can understand his support in her activities after he's being a rebel leader himself.
But he doesn't seem that much of a spacefarer to me.

That leaves me with Ahsoka, if it must be Clone Wars character that is popular. I don't know what Rex does, but I think that he is serving the Empire if he didn't die.

I would love to see Ahsoka confronting Darth Vader in Rebels.

We know Fulcrum is in some way associated with Organa because of the ship. We also know Organa is following the Ghost's activities, as per Droids In Distress.
Rex would be a possibility as well, if we thought he could still be alive. Is the whole clones age and die twice as fast as naturally born humans maxim totally accurate?
I still say it Ahsoka. Filoni won't abandon a character that's both so near and dear to him, and so popular.
