It would be cool seeing Kanan meet with Fulcrum, but the Imperials intercept it...The Inquisitor is waiting for Kanan on that spot, and Fulcrum (Ahsoka probably) rescues Kanan.Would be cool to see Ahsoka VS The Inquisitor...( and Vader)
As we know, Kanan and Ahsoka have probably the same age...

 

So it's still possible to have Ahsoka helping Kanan as a kind of a mentor for him, now we know she is older...

I don't follow - I assume you don't mean they're associated because they both have a similar ship? Because that would be a stretch, at best. It'd be like saying, "Zam Wessel and Boba Fett work together. We know that because they're both Bounty Hunters."

I assume because I don't think this show is trying to be THAT complicated. We saw Bail's ship in Droids In Distress, then we ostensibly see the exact same ship in Gathering Forces. I don't think they'd try to throw a crazy curve ball at little kids watching this, who I presume are supposed to go, "OH! That's the same ship that mom/dad said Princess Leia's dad was on with R2 and 3PO!" I mean, that's how I explained it to my daughter. "Remember, that was the same ship..." And she got it.

We see Bail's ship n both episodes, the second time being a meeting with Fulcrum, so either Fulcrum is Organa (I don't think this is likely due to reasons I've already expressed), it's a group of people (the original rebel alliance cell), or it's someone whose appearance is going to be a Big Deal, ie Ahsoka.

That's my thinking. It's classic foreshadowing and narrative tension. And it's Star Wars, not Lost Highway.

 

I don't think that Correlian corvettes are exclusive to Organa.

 

Bail's ship had red markings on it in the droids episode. Fulcrum's had blue. Similar ship but not the same ship.

 

Interesting theories abound. At first, I scoffed at the idea of it possibly being Ahsoka... but after reading just these few posts, it seems more and more plausible. I'll go that way for now.

It's a bit premature to be touting season 2 when they're taking a month's hiatus, don't we think?

So,I'm guessing even if it isn't him,it's someone working for/with him. Still hoping it's Ashoka.

 

The Ahsoka rumor seems a lot more realistic to me now that I've read these posts. However, did anyone ever think it could be Lux Bonteri? I wasn't too into the Clone Wars, but I remember he was a "rebel fighter" on Onderon. On Wookieepedia, there's a convo between him and Ahsoka. it reads:

AT: "But at what cost? It's like you once said—many lives get caught between the Republic and the Separatists."
LB: "I did say that, once. Then after watching your heroics and the selflessness of the Jedi, I do believe the Republic is the right side to be on."
AT: "What do you mean?"
LB: "Dendup has appointed me the new senator of Onderon. I will follow in my mother's footsteps, and I will bring us back to the Republic."

Lux is willing to fight for an ideal, and the Republic he just came to, and the Jedi order that he admires, has just fallen to the unjust Empire who oppresses its millions of citizens galaxy wide, and I'm pretty sure their cruel dominion falls upon Onderon as well. Anyway, I don't know for sure, this is just food for thought. I doubt they would just kill Lux off though if they were going to bring Ahsoka back. What do you think?

 

You know, there is a rumor floating around that in the new movie there will be a flashback scene of a young Leia (with Carrie Fisher's daughter rumored to be playing that role) and Vader.
How cool would it be to see Ahsoka in that scene?

Hopefully surviving though! She never 'officially' became a Jedi so in RotJ when Yoda tells Luke he will be the last it doesn't -technically- conflict. So she -could- conceivably be around. Maybe. probably not. But i would like it to be so. I liked her character, especially by the end of the series.

It would be funny if when Ben said Luke was their last hope and Yoda said 'no, there is another' he meant Ahsoka and not Leia.

Which makes a lot more sense when you think about it. Who is more likely to be able to take on Vader and the Emperor? Someone who was trained by Anakin and knew his fighting style intimately. Or a 25 year old politician who never has had one day of Force training, even if she has some 'natural talent' potential?

A fulcrum is a thing that plays a central or essential role in an activity, event, or situation. Of all the characters I think Mon Mothma.

She was one of the founders of the Alliance. They also thought about including her in the prequels and those working on Clone wars are aware of that.

I'd LIKE it to be Ashoka though. I like the speculation of the symbol. I hope both characters as well as Bail Organa are brought in as major players as the series continues.

I think it would be really cool for Fulcrum to be Mon Mothma. We don't see much of her in the films, yet most people know who she is and what a big role she played in the founding of the Rebel Alliance. I personally would love to see her get a bigger role in this "spark of Rebellion" that is this series. We already know that she would be active during this time period in between episodes 3 and 4, the real question is What is she doing? Perhaps disguising herself under the false identity of Fulcrum and giving out missions to mercenaries in order to hurt the empire. I don't know what Filoni and crew have in store for us StarWars fans, but I hope that they place Mon Mothma into this story eventually.
