Why people who don't know what they are talking about shouldn't write articles

In my daily scour of the net for little tidbits, I came across an article... folks, this is about as bad as it gets, the author clearly doesn't know squat about Star Wars... some of the gems are that there will be a duel between Luke and Vader (which, yeah, there have been talks about flashbacks) but that the duel would happen on "Yoda's home planet of Endor."

    (epic fail)

Some Internet troll just trying to get attention. That being said who knows maybe yodas race was originally from Endor. Doubtful as for a Luke Vader duel perhaps it's a nightmare Luke has..... I am just reaching for it. I agree i doubt this dude who wrote the article you are referencing knows his ass from a sarlacc pit.....

According to cannon... "Very little is known about Yoda's early life. He was from a remote planet, but which one remains a mystery" In fact, Lucas has been pointedly vague on the subject, where he normally pulls out volumes from his shelf to discuss obscure facts...

This guy was just an idiot who tried to put as many catchphrases as possible into his article...

That will happen. I don't think any of it was in the least bit true just trying to play devils advocate. Though I couldn't convince my self either. I assume it was not on this site as most people's comments I have read at leasthave a wor king knowledge of the SW universe. If it was a serious post then that guy is an idiot. But probably just some lose trolling

nah, it was a link to an article on another site... I do believe they looked at this site, and other forums like it, as they got some of the stuff right, but... well, anyone who knows what's-what can see where they read this and that, and not knowing either, patched together an interesting quilt

Nobody here is that stupid... even the ones I don't agree with, I at least respect for their point of view...

Well done I too think mostly everyone here deserves general respect. But you are right we don't always have to agree. BTW I enjoy reading your posts. Even if I don't agree wwith what you say. But them again isn't speculation all about what the individual thinks will happen. Again well done if nothing else it serves as a warning for any potential trolls and hopefully discourages them from leaving their crap on our beloved site

Heh, I suppose I could almost see the author of that article quoting Yoda as saying "To your leader, take me" or something.
