If he is recast for Indy 6, should the new Han Solo play the new Indiana Jones?

So we know two things for sure: we're getting a young Han Solo movie in 2018 without Harrison Ford, and we're getting a new Indiana Jones movie in 2019 with Harrison Ford.

Two things we don't know: who will play young Han Solo, and if Ford will continue to play Indy if the franchise continues past 5.

What I'm proposing is pretty simple: if Indy were to be recast, it makes some amount of sense to use the same actor who will have replaced Ford as his other iconic role.

This all ultimately depends on who they cast as young Han and if we as a fandom accept him, but what do you all think? Should the actor who plays the young Han Solo also play a younger Indiana Jones?

That only makes sense if he marries who ever is cast in the Abby mcbeale reboot.

    ...c'mon man,...that's rediculous...

Not so ridiculous; the character of Indiana Jones was tailor-made for Ford, it allowed him to basically be Han Solo but be the main character instead of the semi-lead. If they're searching for someone other than Ford who can play Han's swagger, why not consider him for a very similar role? I'm not talking about replacing Ford in the current timeline, I mean to say they should go back to before Temple of Doom and use whoever is playing a young Han as a young Indy (I know River Phoenix did it first, but I'm not talking that young; plus, ya know, he's dead...)

I'm not saying it's 100% a great idea, but it's an idea nonetheless.

Ok,ok, I get it. I may not be 100% behind the idea, but you make a good case. We'll see what happens I guess...

    I
Suppose i see you point from a continuity stand point and so forth, but from a practical standpoint, from Alden's POV. I'd say he probably doesn't want to get typecast as "literally the new Harrison Ford."

Like: hey Alden, we're rebooting blade runner, you're in, of course? Or, you Alden, it's time to remake the fugitive. Hey Alden, time to re do frantic, we'll see you in Pennsylvania in 2022.

Indy is supposed to be a pretty boy, smart-alec, talnted, mature type of person and alden looks a bit too "boyish" for that I think but maybe keeping Shia around or some older version of him in the 70s and 80s could work if it's done right
