SPECULATION Domhnall Gleeson in TFA

And back around again, this time drop him off on the Death Star he has a date with a exhaust port explosion.

By the way this Gleeson guy, it is hard to predict which role he will play.

 

The only verified person I see following him that I know is Peter Serafinowicz, aka Darth Maul's voice in The Phantom Menace. I doubt this is a legit account.

I doubt he would, I guess he doesn't get out much on the social media side of things.

 

I guess actors like Gleeson have a gagging order till 19/12/15 except for interviews about their characters etc, jj will give the cue to reveal their secrets, I expect a great performance by Gleeson.

 

If your scenario did play out and Gleeson dies in TFA, They could always make a spin off about his upbringing or a mission leading up to his undercover status to give us more of the son of Luke. Like you, If he is a Skywalker, I'd rather he just not die. Maybe Luke dies and him being changed means he's a force ghost for the remainder of the ST if that rumor proves true.

 

Personally I hope he is a Tarkin. I could definitely see him all decked out in imp officer garb. He does have some resemblance to Tarkin as well. I never saw too much resemblance to Luke to be honest.

If he was Luke's son you would expect he would be the lead character, yet all we have seen to this point pegs Ridley and Boyega as the leads, likely with Oscar as the third.

Still, when Gleeson says if we knew who he was playing it would spoil the whole plot and the fact they have kept him such a secret is very interesting.

 

The Tarkin theory doesn't make a lot of sense, if he was playing Tarkin then it would only be in a flashback or hologram sequence.. Which is basically a cameo, why would someone with a cameo role be present for a script read with the big three?

 

What about Tarkin's son, grandson, or nephew?

 

after the report that there may be a Tarkin in the TFA portion of the new Battlefront game it does seem likely that Gleeson will play the part of a Tarkin descendant. if Gleeson is Tarkin's kid then he would have to be at least 34-35 years old by the time TFA takes place, unless there's some silly clone plot involved. seeing as to how Gleeson is 31 going on 32 it's not too much of a stretch for him to play a character of that age. we may have a ringer!

 

That's if those Battlefront rumors are even true.

Second as I mentioned previously, Peter Cushing was 64 at the time of episode IV. Old enough to be a grandfather. With Gleeson being 31 and episode VII taking place 30 yrs after ep VI. Him being his son is a huge stretch. Unless Tarkin was popping some blue pills and getting busy on the deathstar

 

Definitely possible.

I'm really stuck on how him giving info on his character could "give the whole plot away" has anyone got any other theories? Unless his character is called "Guy who kills Luke at the end" I don't see how it could blow the whole movie..

 

He must be a key part of the film then.
