For the ones saying that Star Wars The Force Awakens was the biggest loser of the Oscars night: I gotta tell you people, both Disney and the fans don't really care about the Oscars (second biggest grossing worldwide movie, people!). Aside of that, you might tell Mad Max was technically superior, but I dare you in 10 years which movie will be most remembered.

I didn't expect to John Williams to win over Ennio Morricone due to this: Ennio hadn't win an Oscar before. And the score for the "Hateful Eight" was really good. In ten years, we might remember more "Rey's Theme" or "Torn Apart" than that score. Come on, "The Empire Strikes Back" didn't win Best Original Score and I dare anyone to tell the score than won ("Fame") is more endearing than "The Imperial March" or "Han Solo and The Princess".

At the end of the day, we must consider the Academy is quite political and at one point, they might have been really mad with all the secrecy and the lock on the reviews for the movie past December. So I mean it's sort of typical from the Academy.)

I don't know if TFA will be the most remembered if it gets overshadowed by better Star Wars movies, remember they're going to put one out every year.
Thats ten movies in ten years, who knows we might get the best Star Wars movie to date within those ten years. Where as Mad Max has mostly been a cult following and i think Fury Road will be well remembered.
