Love the design/clothing on Finn and especially Rey. Feels Star Wars.
From the looks of it Rey will be a Jedi (to be) and Finn... probably not, though you never know. Feels more like a Solo type character from the looks of it.

 

Notice how both Finn and Rey seem to not have "Saber Grip" on either hand. hmmmmm...."you are not a Jedi yet..."

 

They may not be Jedi yet but ...

 

Perhaps low saber time on these characters there will be ...

 

I thought robotic arms would come out of the little ball, but by his size I think he can't even reach the terminals on Spaceships.

 

Funny for some reason I pictured him smaller. I have no idea why.

 

Either there are very long arms folded up inside that small droid or his function is that of a spy who can roll in and out of places undetected and film stuff.
Judging from the size of that thing it's hard picturing him in full R2 mode, hacking into computers to open doors

He could have long arms.
He could have arms as well as legs. The legs give him some height and stability but the primary locomotion is wheeling around.
He could open along the equator like an easter egg exposing a center shaft, gaining height and displaying a whole bunch of neat arms and toys.
He could use thrusters like Artoo or antigrav like Yoda's chair.

 

I hope that since BB is so small, they would go all out and have him with a magnet in the ball and head, such that you can roll him around and keep his head on.

Hard to judge yet, but if that is 'Kylo Ren', if that is his/her real name, then it's a teeny bit boring. Okay, I know, I know, it's just a rough idea based on a toy design, but what I liked about Darth Maul when I saw him was that he was so instantly a Star Wars classic, he was unique. This just looks like a Vader wannabe, and me no likey.

Really hope to be proven wrong. Fingers crossed that this time next year I'll be waving a little KRen/ Darth Bland flag.

 

John Boyega is right handed (Attack The Block)? Daisy Ridley is left handed (Casualty)?

Unless they're ambidextrous, Ridley may be left-handed. I've seen a photo of her holding a gun left-handed as well.



Boyega is right-handed if Attack The Block is anything to go by.

I get the same vibe from the figure. It's really plain looking but even seeing what we can see in the trailer looks better to me and that leaked helmet pic looks cool.
