    Everything we have seen and read about Rey seems to scream "Protagonist".

    1. Kathleen's stating about continuing the generational story.
    2. Daisy's resemblance to Natalie and Carrie.
    3. Rey starting out exactly the same as Anakin and Luke.

    Also, earlier tonight I thought of another saga pattern which could indicate Rey and Kylo's parentage.

    PT: Middle to end chapter, coupling between two characters (Anakin and Padme)
    OT: Result of that coupling (Luke and Leia).

    OT: Middle to end chapter, coupling between two characters (Han and Leia)
    ST: Result of that coupling (Rey and Kylo).

    With Rey probably being the trilogy's protagonist, two things will undoubtedly be certain:

    1. The word "destroy" will be said about her or to her.
    2. Force lightning will get used on her.

    The original title of Episode VI, "Revenge of the Jedi," got changed because George said that a Jedi doesn't take revenge. Now, based on what supposedly happens in TFA between Han and Kylo and with the possibility that Rey is Han's daughter, could that possibly be what happens in the new trilogy: ie. Rey seeks revenge?

    It's possible. There have been rumors of Rey turning to the Dark Side alongside her brother. One piece of evidence they cite is the concept art that shows (possibly) Kylo embracing her. In the concept art, Rey appears to have lost hope and accepted the Dark Side. So it's possible, the only problem is that Finn will have to redeem not one, but two people lol

    I don't think she would turn, but maybe struggle between the two sides. Rey sees her father killed, naturally she'd want to go after the perpetrator but her uncle Luke, and her mentor, tries to teach her to be careful.
