    Yep. Also, TCW wasn't a part of the new canon when it was airing, because there was no such thing as of yet. So including Aurra Sing wasn't "canonizing" her until the whole series became canon. On the other hand, if they were to put someone like Thrawn into Rebels, that would be canonization; it hasn't happened yet with any existing EU character (that I know of, so please correct me if I'm wrong), and I kind of doubt it will happen.

    And @daffy72 , this isn't the place to get into such things, but it really would be difficult to add Thrawn into the new movies considering the position they took with wiping the EU; if that had gone down differently, Thrawn' inclusion would be a different story. I agree that this kind of a scene would have been perfect for him, but alas...

    Looks like a mixture to me , the best of both worlds . And that guy who pointed out the evolution of the neck armor (no neck) made a very valid point indeed. Can't wait to hear the sound of that big ol double cannon.

    Quinlan Vos was going to appear in ROTS because Lucas liked the character. His scenes were dropped, but he is still referred to by name by Anakin in the finished movie, technically making him canon.
    Aayla Secura was created for the EU, and appeared in comics before she appeared in AOTC.

    Actually, I was referring to any EU characters making an appearance in Rebels, thus canonizing them. Both of those characters also appeared in TCW, cementing their canon-status even further. Thanks though :).

    Look how excited we are all over a ONE SECOND CLIP. I'll admit it, I've watched it 20 times and it looks incredible, but most of all it gets me excited for the next trailer. Seeing new footage for the first time is the best feeling in the world, think of how excited everyone is today and multiply that by a hundred when the actual trailer comes out. We are so desperate for ANYTHING Star Wars related, that when we actually do get hit with the trailer, we won't know what to do with ourselves!
