I look away from The Cantina for two days and this happens!

 

Looks awesome! I think it is Hux and Phasma.

Just had a thought that has probably been discussed before, but what if Snoke is a shapeshifter or can hide his natural "reptilian" alien look. Wasn't there info that Serkis sort of plays two characters?

 

I'm calling Kylo Ren is the character out front, and that scene is from the finale of the movie. Snoke will be behind the scenes, and Hux dead or no longer a general.

I doubt it, I feel this is around the time they first fire the superweapon. Movie ends with Starkiller Base's destruction and the death of Hux with Kylo getting his own ambiguous TIE fighter spinning out of control type moment.

Basically like it or not TFA is going to be a hardcore retread of ANH with homages and callbacks galore

 

THAT would be different. What if they ended in the typical celebration fashion like Episode 1 and 4, except this time it was the Imperials celebrating?!

 

We learned that Hux is the commander of Starkiller base during the recent Star Wars panel at Comic-Con. I've also read rumors that Starkiller base houses some type of super weapon. If that is the case, it would make sense for Hux to be filling a role similar to Tarkin in ANH, therefore the figure at the front could be Hux giving a speech christening the new super weapon.

 

I figured that was phasm, and kylo isn't there. So why not? Why WOULDNT he be standing there?

 

He's busy chasing after Rey and Finn

 

So that puts this shot at the end of the second act? Beginning of the third?

 

I think this is when they first fire Starkiller Base killing Korr Sela so near the end of the second act ya

 

If you look at the original front facing shot, the guy centre stage seems human build with flesh coloured skin, he seems pretty human from the back too so I'd have to hazard a guess this is Hux as he's the one in charge of Starkiller base. My only evidence for it not being Snoke is the First Order officer uniform he appears to wear and the fact that there doesn't seem to be enough difference in build or stature to warrant the use of CGI and motion capture. Just my opinion of course!

i think that since its a tv spot they had to use "Battle of the Heroes from Revenge of the Sith" and not the original music
