    Maybe in a Tales of the Jedi short or something. The character was in total service to Omega’s story this episode. Makes sense they wouldn’t touch book material that wasn’t relevant to Omega.

    Personally, I never read the novel, so I’m perfectly fine if they don’t bother bringing it up at all. I know that’s not the same for everybody though.

    ok, here's a question for you BB fans... I keep seeing ads for it on my D+ account and it's suddenly intriguing me (subliminal co-ersion!)

    full disclosure, I've still never finished the whole of TCW*, so do I need to before watching BB or is it isolated enough that I could just watch it anyway?


    * yes, it's a disgrace and some would argue I shouldn't be on the admin team for such heresy :D

    I haven't watched all of TCW myself yet, especially I can't remember watching the episode(s) where the BB appeared first, but that didn't stop me from enjoying BB.
    IMHO it's isolated enough.

    Bad Batch tells its own story and so I don't think you'd need to have seen all of TCW. At the same time though, Bad Batch series is still a direct sequel to TCW, and so I'd still recommend seeing TCW. Like, you'd still be able to enjoy and follow BB anyway, but I think having seen TCW would help make the overall story that much better and a little richer. Especially for the Batch's story arc in TCW Season 7; it's just a nice "meeting the team" introduction, and gives you a good glimpse into the team's earlier days before things go to pot as soon as the BB series begins.
