"The Force planet was a world located in the heart of the galaxy.[2] It was where the microscopic organisms known as midi-chlorians were born,[1] and as a result had a strong connection with the Force.[3]

It was not marked on any star map and had no official name. The planet was surrounded by a bright nebula. Upon reaching the surface, it appeared barren, save for luminescent geysers that shot out energy from inside the planet. Below the surface were floating islands, covered in plant life and immersed in the Force.[3]

During the Clone Wars, Jedi Master Yoda of the Jedi Order traveled to this planet and encountered the Force Priestesses.[4]"

I have to say, those episodes handled it a lot better than how the video described "how it should be"

And what if the First Order superweapon used the energy within a Force planet? The shots of the X-wings on the water also show islands, indicating that the snow planet and the island planet may be one and the same...

In fact--hang with me here--what if there is snow and ice around the super weapon because of its affect on the Force/ecology of that planet? I'm trying to tie together Muzzlewump, MSW, the teasers, and this new information here... MSW in their podcast said that the super weapon affects the landscape around it.

Remember, Kasdan wrote ESB and ROTJ, both of which (especially ESB) emphasize Force ecology (Yoda's speeches, the Dark Side Cave, the Ewoks' religion of the trees).

Further to this, the Mortis arc is quite interesting, although also a little silly - it added a lot to the mythos, pure ancient force beings and the like, and was also the only spot Qui Gon's force ghost could show up visibly.

"Mortis was an ethereal realm in Wild Space. The realm was covered with lush forests and molten caverns, with floating mountains above the surface. The only known beings who inhabited the realm were three Force-wielders locked in an eternal struggle for dominance over one another: the Son, who represented the destructive and deadly aspects of the realm; the Daughter, who represented peace and creation on Mortis; and the Father, who maintained the balance of the Force between them.[2] Mortis was therefore a fulcrum for the galaxy and a conduit through which the Force flowed.[3]

During the Clone Wars, the Father drew Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Ahsoka Tano into the realm.[3] The Father realized that Skywalker was the Chosen One, and that he could maintain the balance of the Force between the two children once the Father died.[2] This led to a struggle between the Force wielders and the three Jedi, culminating in the deaths of all three wielders and the restoration of balance on Mortis."

I would just like to point out that the terrain is "floating mountains, molten caverns, and lush forrests" potentially ticking a few boxes planet/terrain rumour/reveal wise (x-wing squadron flying over water with mountainous backdrop, kylo and finn in the snowy forrest, rey overcome by forrests).

I don't think this is correct, but half the fun of this buildup has been the speculation and creativity (the other half being the actual reveals).

EDIT: Mortis is also off in wild-space or "beyond" if you whill

What other canon "beyond" info/planets can we come up with?
    --- Double Post Merged, Sep 1, 2015 ---
Here's a fantasy flight release from two years back, not much content there but perhaps more from those who've played it. All I could garner was "The Wheel" - a sort of empire refugee/pirate hub space station on the edge of Wild Space.

    https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2013/6/6/beyond-the-rim/

A hutt controlled/former CIS world called Teth: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Teth/Canon full of fortresses/castles converted to Hutt strongholds

Not much canon on the Rishi Maze, but... it was sort of stated that the galaxy in the pan out at the end of Ep V was actually the Star Wars galaxy, meaning the Rebel Fleet was hiding off in the void.

Much more legends content regarding Wild Space, the Rishi Maze and the Unknown Regions of course, but avoided that as it seems the story group are picking and choosing snippets of that for inspiration, fitting things into the established canon.

Can't find much else, hope others have more luck!

A holy council of Jedi Master Force ghosts? Wow. If this isn't a thing, then this really, really needs to become a thing. Used sparingly, of course.

1st post here and I've been watching all of the amazing speculation that has been going on! PS I AM the anonymous guy who has all the intelligent, smart-ass responses to trolls and ignorant people on the articles (sorry pomojema lol I just wanna scare off the annoying ones) any who before I get voted off topic....

Okay so we all know Kylo has a rigged up lightsaber he made...has DVs helmet...think about it. The alcolytes do become successful in their goals...maybe they end up destroying Darth Vaders lightsaber, bury it with him (throw it on the pile, whatever you guys get it haha) and here comes grown up Vader-obsessed Kylo along the way and since there's no Sith to teach him, he could've possibly studied the remains to reverse engineer a lightsaber, took some parts from the already taken apart /broken lightsaber, AND the synthetic kaiber crystal pieces, went off on his way, and built his suit and lightsaber thus continuing on the Vader legacy. It was also mentioned in HTTJ book (canon) that it took wafer size crystals to activate that specific lightsaber...note kaiber crystals are not wafer sized...

Thanks for letting me post you guys rock!

For the record, I doubt there is a signficant overlap or connection betweent he acolytes and the Knights of Ren... as the Reninites havent destroyed Vaders helmet, and their motivation seems to be to destroy artifacts.

So something I have always noticed is that the hilt of Kylos saber does resemble the hilt of Vaders saber, even if just in the slightest

    I'll pay that...

There was some confusion over on Reddit as to what "Vader's saber" constituted (mainly because of the Anakin's lightsaber spoiler/theory), but... the store owner said it was red so know that at least.

Even if it wasn't the real thing, it may have gotten beaten down falling to Endor or exploding with Death Star II. That makes it a plot point that works for the average fan as well as the obsessed (us), which is the "marketability" test I like to run rumours/speculation through.

Kylo's saber bears a slight similarity. Though that could be a marketing thing, capitalizing on the popularity of Vader in general. But I think Star Wars 7 is just gonna go down a whole lot sweeter if anything like THAT they explain down to the minutiae, as well as having their $$$ reasons - to keep us fanboys hooked. That means it passes the marketability test again. It may never be explicitly stated, but somewhere in the background or novel or in a future release.

One of my favourite things about the Thrawn trilogy was when they made those kinds of nerd links back to the OT, and then when the PT came out you could link it back to the Thrawn trilogy (Jorus/Joruus, Adi Galia, Outbound Flight -> Obi-Wan investigating Count Dooku, Yoda's reasons for hiding out on Dagobah). Sad that that particular bit is void now, but hey, we get to do it all over again.

I think we're looking at an SS situation.

After the battle of Yavin, I suspect while the Empires military kept fighting this served as a distraction for the leaders and grand moff to run to their Argentine, the outer rim. We don't know much about this, as described by Dexter Jetster.

I think Jakku and Takodano(sp?) and the last planet will be in this region, and I suspect that mvs will serve as someone on Jakku who bridges this story

This is where they find the Knights of Ren and create the First Order, capturing Kylo Solo in the years that follow
