    I actually think that Rey/Kylo will get something of a following, based on Heroine/Villain pairings that tend to pop up in fandoms (Christine/Phantom in Phantom of the Opera, Sarah/Jareth from Labyrinth, etc.). Unless they turn out to be related by the time the film comes out, and any fans would disappear (...Unless they're fine with that sort of thing...).

    As long as they don't overdue the romance like in the PT and keep it fun and interesting like the OT I'll be on anyone's team :D
    and no im not a prequel hater I love all star wars movies, but the OT is clearly better.

    It will be more like the OT I think. Though I think its going to play out like a Romeo and Juliet with Finn and Rey.

    If Finn leaves the Empire early in the first movie, it's far from a Romeo and Juliet scenario. They'll be on the same side. I think they'll be more like Luke/Leia, training together under Luke, good friends. If he was still fighting for Empire, that would be a Romeo and Juliet scenario. I think if Poe does, in fact, get the Falcon, and if Rey is, in fact, Han's daughter, it's a no brainer. She'll end up with the guy who has the MF.

    Maybe but the foundation of the love triangle was established in ANH. So it is completely possible that they meet and have chemistry early on he has just left the empire.

    I can just see the scene now as Rey walks off Finn turns to Poe and asks absently "so you think a girl like that and guy like could . . ." Poe goes to object cause he is a fellow rebel but Han walks in and answers for him, "NO."

    I agree that it will take time to build but I think it is definitely one way to go.

    As far as them training together I don't see it I see Finn picking up a saber. I think he will stay in his wheelhouse using a blast rifle so the 501st fanbase has a go to hero.
