Bespin confirmed ?

That red thing in that moment looks like some sort of projectile moving through space. If you watch it as it moves, it almost has a trail coming off behind it.

 

My guess is that it's the orange/red glow being emitted from Starkiller, when viewing the weapon from the planet's surface it will shoot straight into the air from the surface, as seen in the trailer. (that's just fan art ^)

 

Kinda looks like a Skyscraper on Bespin to me

All I see are reflections on the glass, some stars and a big red streak of light.

 

It's really hard to tell if that's Bespin. There's definitely some type of structure outside of the bridge that Kylo is on. There's some sort of tower on it but it doesn't match the look of Cloud City from ESB. It could even be another Star Destroyer for all we know. I would also second those who've pointed to the red streak as being the Starkiller weapon firing. It's definitely not a sunrise. As @walnut the wise noted, it's got a tail of some sort.

 

There's A good chance to be Bespin just because so far we haven't seen any similar structure on starkiller base planet, we must remember that Kylo is searching for Anakin´s lightsaber last seen on Bespin...once he didnt found he decided to use on the planet the first order last super weapon in order to keep his search secret...

I feel confident in saying that's the Death Star-like weapon that may or may not be called Starkiller Base.

 

i have my doubts here... one thing J. J doesnt like to do much is reuse old things... he likes new worlds etc.. he's not one to go back to something that has been done.. and when you think about it, what would be a reason to use Bespin? it was a SMALL gas mine as said in the movie.. no real value at all.

 

It's a fun theory, but the first thing I notice about the building in the trailer is that it isn't symmetrical, unlike all of the other buildings we see on Bespin in ESB. I'm pretty sure this is Starkiller base.

 

Yeah but honestly, think about this... who knew it was lost there... 2 people Vader and Luke... they dont seem like the type of people to sit at a bar telling people the story of what happened

 

I too think it is Starkiller base.... At first I thought it was from a Star Destroyer bridge watching the red streak go by. However after more thought, I think it is the base and what you are seeing is is the weapon firing. The trench is warming up or beginning to fire!!!!.....Unlike the Death Star where the beam converges and shoots from one single point, Starkiller shoots a much broader beam from the entire trench. It could be the width of the entire trench. If the trench goes completely around the planet then you get a 360 degree beam.
