SPECULATION Boba Fett in Rebels?

Don't let Boba Fett hear you saying you want to see someone wearing Fett's armor and posing as him. Jodo Kast did this and it didn't end well.

 

Or Daniel Logan could do it since he also did it live action and in the clone wars.

 

Daniel Logan has always had a younger sounding voice though. Rebels is approximately 5-7 before ESB, which is where we hear Temuera Morrison. Baker or Morrison have to voice Boba if he appears in Rebels.

Were they? They got toys too in the 80s. They were in the "tales of the bounty hunter" book and SOTE comic.

 

I sincerely doubt and hope he would not appear. I'm just not sure what including him gains if not for fan-service.

 

If you think like that, then wouldnt that make Vader, Ashoka, Rex, etc. fan service too? I think it's really a matter of including boba fett as an appropriate balance of both fan service and crucial to the story lines

Boba as much as fans don't want to believe it has been predominately a peripheral character. Rex, Ahsoka, Vader have all had huge roles in various either the movies or Clone Wars series. Boba? Not so much. That being said, I felt the same way about Lando's appearance in Rebels. Don't get me wrong. I like it, but it felt unnecessary.

 

well lando was in one movie and one or two episodes of rebels...boba was in AOTC and had a killer arc on TCW and is also in ESb and ROTJ with some important storylines overarching the entire saga until ROTJ...vader is different because star wars starts with him and ended with him.

 

I guess my feeling is that I don't need every topping I like on my pizza if you get my drift. If Boba appears in the Solo movie great, but I'm not sure I need him popping up in Rebels. Now I think it would have been cool if Boba early in the series was consistently after Zeb or even Kanan. And he pops up from time to time trying to capture either one. IF you're going to introduce Boba, I don't want him showing up then for one episode. I'd then like him to become a more regular character. Then to me its not just fan service.

 

I'd love more bounty hunters to show up in Rebels. Seeing Dengar hunting down the rebels would be pretty cool, too.

 

I'm surprised we got Thrawn b4 any famous bounty hunters.

 

Probably because Thrawn has a much bigger story to tell that is easier to tie into with everything.

 

Fett will be in, but it won't me anything more than what he does in the comics for Vader, post-ANH. His rise to the most notorious and feared bounty hunter in the galaxy requires a good film or story driven games, like Star Wars 1313 was supposed to be.

Fan service or not. Seeing Fett in Rebels would be great! He has always been one of my favorite characters, even without a lot of screen time. If he is written in well, kind of along the same way Clones did Cad Bane, it could prove interesting.
I'm also 100% all for a Boba Fett movie that's now supposedly back in pre-production. As long as it is dark and gritty and shows more of the Star Wars underworld we don't often see. Get someone like Christopher Nolan to put his unique spin on it like he did with Batman.

Over using characters like Boba Fett and Maul never adds to them or makes them cooler. Often times less is more, and mystery = cool.

If they do a Boba Fett movie, I wonder if they'll use Kasdan's proposed story about the clone of Jango Fett being killed and someone else assuming the identity of Boba Fett.

 

I could see Sabine crossing paths with Fett...
