That would be a different twist on things. I personally would like them to keep him as Jangos son. Gives him a reason to be a bad-ss seeing his dad beheaded.

 

I think idea behind Kasdan's pitch was - being a clone isn't bad-ss (in fact its kind of lame) so lets hit the re-set button.

 

Except new canon stuff has the Fetts as not Mandos, just bounty hunters with their armor. One of the things I dislike the most about the new canon :S

I'm somewhat sure it was mentioned in clone wars. By vizla to obi-wan, maybe in the episode where they first fight/discover deathwatch.

Yes.. this guy gets it.. Fett isn't needed.. Adding Boba can make the SW universe smaller.. Its like living in a house with all your best friends, at first its great! but after a while you will get sick of seeing the same person over and over... DF and the SWR team are doing a great job adding new people to the show, and that is the right direction to take..

 

I can see him in Rebels. but I do understand where he would fit in regarding the series. he be more of a 2-3 episode fillers. I would like to see him just cause he was in TCW as a teen and just to see him in an older role since we didnt get alot of him in the OT is better. just to get him started before his solo film if they decide to move forward completely on the project.

 

Pre Vizla says it to Obi-Wan, and Filoni says so in BTS videos of The Clone Wars.

 

I agree with your perspective from a certain degree. I'm in love with the fact that Disney is introducing wave after wave of new characters to the never-ending roster, but you also have to remember that 'Rebels' is in the galactic cival war era, the most popular era of the entire Star Wars franchise without a doubt, and this era is the time to highly invest in strengthening the Original Trilogy's character's core's. There is so much room in this era canonically untouched, and Boba Fett is worth well more than one or two episodes for said spaces to be filled. I don't believe they did Boba justice in TCW at all. It's bad enough us Fett fans have to accept the fact that his death was ridiculous and can be canonically in stone forever (so far), but to portray young Fett as an arrogant, cocky,little dim-witted Scum is just not logical.

OK???? Where will this EVER be proven in films? The time era where Boba Fett's reputation and skill was at it's prime was in the Rebel's time frame. I've spent dozens of hours reading Boba Fett's EU and canon story's, so I say, LET'S SEE IT FOR ONCE......at least for an episode or two. I want the episode to consist of Boba disintegrating someone, and/or use his genius to ultimately walk away the winner.

I know, can we at least get 2-3 episodes??? Boba as an adult is supposed to be better than Bane and look how much time Bane got!!
