    How about it made money.
    Sheesh.

Some fans just like to cheer for the things they like, whatever the success is, as strange as that idea might sound.

    Cheers,
    Jayson

    Sales numbers don't equ

To reiterate a previous post. Sales does not equal quality. There are several films that have done very well hitting the billion dollar mark that you couldn't pay me to sit through again. I remember reading an interview with Matt Damon and Anthony Mackie where both of them said that many films are geared at 15 year old boys who will sit through multiple viewings. Further it's not unheard of for a sequel not to make as much money as the film that came before it.

FYI I walked out of Rogue One. I remember going to see it after a rough and tiring day at work and I was looking for something to unwind. And about 90 minutes in I was just bored to tears. Nothing was happening, it was just a lazy re-tread of the French resistance taking on the Nazi's.

One can say the same thing about the ST but at least the characters are interesting.

I am just happy that it (and TLJ) just made enough money so that Disney can hopefully see that there is a market and an audience who likes good stories.

My comment had nothing to do with sales equalling quality.

Fans like to see things they love do well, so they're going to cheer when they do - no matter how small or big that win is.

It's like saying success doesn't equal a person managing life existentially well.
No kidding. But a friend is still going to cheer on their friend for achieving something, no matter how small or big.

    Cheers,
    Jayson
