Also, Rian's Wookiee impression is pretty Tarfull. Haha! Get it, Tarfull-awful? Ha ha, okay, I'll stop.

 

The explosion near the beginning that threw up the red dirt of Craig looked to be in a trench of sorts (like the battle of hoth). I thought I saw a stuntman flying in there, could be a land battle.

 

I don't think Finn should be trusting Rose.....

 

Looks amazing! Guess there will be a lot of sabre fighting. But who's fighting Kylo. Is he going to be betrayed by Snoke. Is he fighting Redguards. They're weapon-handling matches the images we've seen of Snoke's Praetorian Guard.

b.t.w. If there's a Praetorian Guard there needs to be a Praetor right.............right?

Reactions in no particular order:

I'm glad they published it immediately, but that's more a non-negative than a positive.

Definitely no trailer for a long time. This had tons of stuff to chew on in it...though I'd have preferred trailer. I'm going to enjoy the screenrant & SWNN breakdown as much as watching this thing.

TLJ sure looks to have lots of new and interesting locations and creatures.

And this stuff will certainly be filling up the toys shelves for decades.

Showing Chewie on what I think was confirmed as the bridge of Leia's command ship (shown in the teaser) and that last shot with Fisher (as well as her family quote) with a light obscuring an olive garbed figure pretty much confirm a Leia Luke reunion.

That video has some of the worst celebrity promo cliches I've ever heard. GC is smarter and funnier than that. AD has always been a shamelessly simple self-promoter but that was pretty idiotic way to present him.

Does anyone think those new A wings look a little too close to the old Battlestar Galactica fighters? (Isaac does look a bit like Face from Ateam when he was on BG now that I think of it.)


I'm really interested to see what that water set is for. Looks like a cave on the world Luke is at during TFA.

Um, is Kylo training to fight Reys staff with his lightsaber or is he gonna be fighting Snokes guards? Rey is training with her staff again.

Again, LOTS of interesting new details and teases in this video.

Of course they had to show KK on set yukking it up. Lord & Miller must have some great stories.

Finn & Rey together in costume a lot. And on another snow planet? At least they're not likely to rip off Watchmen this time. Honestly, I'm pretty excited about Rian's take on alien worlds. That spray of red goo looks like its from that mining planet, but thats so obvious it could be a head fake. Remember how much Hamill appeared in the TFA BTS video? LFL loves to mess with expectations.

The new creatures and aliens all look great. Looks like several different battle sequences too. Very excited about the trailer we'll have to wait awhile for, because LFL prefers advertising by toy release rather than footage of the actual movie.

Everything pertaining to what TLJ will contain seems amazing. That BTS video is the best of the three LFL BTS videos and 10x better than the April teaser.

My only issue is with the "why show you footage when we know we have your ticket money? Here's some LEGOs & Black series stuff" marketing campaign. AGAIN.

TLJ has a strong chance to be amazing, I think. I wish they'd honor us with 270 seconds of footage, so we could be more excited instead of puzzled.

 

I love the shot of the Falcon at night with the fire but having a hard time telling who is sitting there. Chewie?

 

I'm glad you enjoy them and that so many others react this way to them. This one is for sure the best BTS, and there is a lot to unpack.

I'm the complete opposite though, I like footage. I'm glad they did release this publicly immediately

 

Just to clarify, that is not snow, it's salt on top of red dust on Crait.

I don't think there's any way we will know if that's Crait or not until December, maybe October when we see the nuclear codes, sorry I mean the trailer
