Cast Reaction to TLJ (should we be worried ?)

It's quite simple what they did. Which was not use the EU as George was gonna do. But...As usual, this is being taken out of the context of what the Mark is trying to say. Same as with Daisy Ridley. Mark isn't saying anything negative about TFA or TLJ. He's also been clear in saying that the film is good, even though he wasn't initially on board with where Luke starts the film. He isn't saying the story sucks, or that the characters are ruined. He just misses George and his idea for what they are. He's not comparing either of them unfavorably, or saying "this isn't real Star Wars" because of that.

 

I honestly think Hamill is leaving these vague comments as a ‘I told you so’ in case there is a TLJ backlash or even fans reacting negatively at Luke’s arc in the movie (I have avoided spoilers so I have no idea). Remember Hamill was not a big fan of the TFA ending as he thought it would be laughed off by fans.

 

I find your lack of faith disturbing.

 

Actors also have to be congratulated. Their ability to avoid facts and spoilers in their speeches is at a really high level.

TLJ is very divise. Some love it, some hate it. Even if (or especially if?) you are a hardcore fan you are in for a lot of surprises.
If you don't believe me post something like "TLJ is the best SW movie since ESB" or "TLJ is not my Star Wars" and you'll see your post receive all kinds of different ratings.

 

This is very true, and it actually annoys me. Too bad there's not any "Offended" rating for all these offended people to use instead.

 

A neutral "Relax" rating would be cool. Henceforth I shall use my own rating for overzealous haters and fanboys. I present to you the "Chillout Jabba" rating.
