Episode VIII Big Spoiler Dump

This reminds me of that 'leaked plot' for Episode III, which featured Mara Jade's mother, Darth Xio Jade, as a member of the Sith High Council.

 

"Rey dies, Luke dies, Snoke kind of dies but not really, a few of the knights of ren die, the first order dies, Finn loses an arm and his face gets severely damaged"
They post nonsense at fakingstarwars, sure it's a funny read, but at the end of the day it's still made up nonsense.

 

THE ENTIRE FLEET IS NOT FUCKNG GONE THEY STILL HAVE MON CALAMARI AND KUAT HOLY blast!

The good guys get killed in VIII - holy moly! nonetheless a very entertaining read!

 

Good point but there is no reason to set up Rey to be the next big hero in TFA then kill her off in VIII. I can see Luke sacrificing himself to save Rey and then she totally turns psycho and "metaphorically" dies like you said, but not literally. Although I don't approve, I think Leia will die. I can't see anyone in the big 3 surviving. Like they said, it's all about passing the torch to the new characters. I'm sure Luke and Leia will go down with pride.

 

It was a cool read, and I'd be down for some of it happening except for Rey, Plagueis, and Luke dying.

I'd like 8 to be villain driven. Kylo bests Rey, Plagueis bests Luke. Then 9 Rey bests Kylo and Luke bests Plagueis.

 

I suppose in a way it makes sense for the Big Three to all die this series, given that the prequel Big Three all die before or during the original trilogy. I don't want that, though. Keep the twins alive! A few years ago, I'd have said Luke could die a la Obi-Wan and live on as a Force ghost, but save Han and Leia. But I guess that's not a possibility anymore.

Sounds good to me. I am intrigued. I hope they give us something unexpected and don't really care who they piss off in the process. The idea of bloodline destiny needs to die. Game of Thrones and more generally ASoIaF is as popular as it is because George R.R. Martin gives zero #$^&#. I want the audience to be hurt, confused, embittered and even angry. Other wise this is just the lady Karate Kid in space and we have already seen every permutation of that story. Nothing should be sacred and no one should be safe.

 

Thanks for the share. It had some good ideas, some definitely bad ideas. I like Snoke revealed as Plagueis and I like a duel between him and Luke but if that happens in Act 3 of the second episode, what the heck is left for the finale? I think we also understand that there is no way the one character that the Force awakened in is going to die halfway through the second episode. Again thanks it was a good read anyways.

 

Why does Rey have to be 'Luke for girls'? Beyond ridiculous.

I'm a grown ass man at 37, love Luke, but Rey is more interesting than Luke and IMO a better hero out the gate. Who cares that she happens to be female...

Also, don't want to see SW turn into GOT where they kill off characters for the shock/dark factor.

If they do kill Rey, that would be a downright shame, but I think since she is the main character, she will be around for all three. No way they would spend most of the previous episode in 7 just to kill her off in 8...would be a waste of screen time, literally.

 

This defines Finns current state.

 

I dont like saying it at all, but I actually agree with that. I think it is time to rid ourselfs completely of these old beloved characters and focus on the new one's 100 %. I know I will be crying like an little schoolgirl when Luke dies. But this is the way I think they should do it.. Give Luke the same amount of screen time as Solo had, and then kill him off. Then Luke will have had his last hurra as he deseves 200% (like Solo had in The Force Awakens) ..

 

hey they are canon Kuat was in TCW and im not sure about Mon Calamari that's where the Home One came from so yeah here canon so maybe they will join the Resistance
