    Hey guy's i was watching this scene on facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/Sta...3488476&ref=notif&notif_t=group_comment_reply and i saw Finn hit Kylo on the arm does that mean he will also have a cybernetic shoulder blade along with Finn having a cybernetic back(Finn) so let me know what you think also for a non-trained lightsaber duelist went against the kid of Han Solo and Princ-*punched by Leia* General Leia!

    You do realize that Finn is not force sensitive right? He battled Kylo with his melee weapon training he received while in the First Order. And also with rage, after seeing Kylo attack Rey. He only had temporary possession of the lightsaber, and that was only so it could make its way to Rey. The saber is hers now.

    Finn's character will most likely go another direction.

    He was awakened by the force. thats why he left the first order Finn is force sensitive.

    The force can guide and influence people or events without them being force-sensitive. It surrounds and penetrates "all living things." The force definitely used Finn, but mainly in terms of Rey's destiny. At least so far.

    Unless it's been confirmed by an official source, Finn being force sensitive because he defected from the First Order is some serious baloney. Was Crix Madine force sensitive? Was Thane Kyrell force sensitive?

    It's also possible that you were just being sarcastic, and joking. Which I hope is the case...

    You may be right but it misses a number of features.

    1- Kylo senses Finn in similar manner to Vader sensing Obi-Wan.

    2- Rey and Finn have a moment where they are practically giddy after taking out the Tie fighters. Both explain their skill in similar manner.

    3- Finn tosses aside his blaster because it slows his run toward Rey. He has a moment with Maz who reminds him that he has a weapon. The non-jedi Force Sensitive pirate encourages him to use the weapon of a JEDI.

    Your point that he is there only to serve Rey's destiny totally misses the point. NOTHING happens without Finn. Poe dead, Rey dead, Han stays a smuggler, Republic government goes boom followed by the Resistance, and the First Order goes on to face the galaxy with a Starkiller to keep people in line.

    1-Force users can detect emotions in non-force users. This has been done many times in the universe (Luke with Nekari, for example). Kylo sensed Finn's fear.
    2-True!
    3-Maz also said that the lightsaber was calling to Rey, and it belonged to her now. It needed to get to her.

    Yes, I understand that nothing happens without Finn, but the same could also be said of R2 in ANH. He set everything in motion. But that's not an indication of being force sensitive. The force can use anyone or anything it needs.

    Btw, thank you for outlining your points clearly. Makes communicating so much easier :cool:

    The pre-release media was making Finn out to be an obvious future-Jedi. However, that turned out to be an attempt to draw our attention away from Rey and her connection with the force. They wanted her grab-the-saber moment to be as much of a surprise as possible (I did enjoy it).

    Yes, we understand that you strongly dislike the film. You've made that abundantly clear across the forums.

    I did notice tonight and the last time I saw the movie that there is indeed the force sound effect when Finn is having his Jakku epiphany.

    We don't know that he's not. We have only witnessed the first leg of his journey. He may be or he may not be, but I don't think it's wise to rule it out just yet. Either way I'm really digging the character.

    I thought Kylo was not taking the fight against Finn serious, until he got hit in the shoulder. Then he ended it very quickly.

    @Hunin. You can disagree. That's cool but the sound is present during that scene. Anyway. Every time I get into a conversation about Finn I begin to accumulate negative ratings, and I really hate negative ratings. This is why I'm so slow to dish them out Lol. I'm outta here lol. :)
