    1) "Empire Strikes Back", for the deeper take on the characters; the iconic sequences; the dark, tragic atmosphere and the general look. One of the greatest sci-fi classics.
    2) "A New Hope", for having built from quite nothing an entire universe; the compelling plot and characters; the marvelous visual effects and soundtrack.
    3) "The Force Awakens", for being a funny, beautiful looking adventure movie; for the way the new characters play side by side wth the old ones; for the general epic atmosphere and the original take on some of the classic threads of the saga.

    And then:

    4) "Return of the Jedi", great conclusion of Luke/Vader storyline, but a not so well packed movie overall. Stunning effects, though.
    5) "Revenge of the Sith", confused plot development in the first half, with flat characters and bad dialogues, but good and emotional ending.
    6) "Rogue One", quite the same for ROTS, a stunning third act in front of an inconsistent first half, with flat characters and problematic story development. Very good direction, and some of the best action sequences in the saga, though.
    7) "Attack of the Clones", a quite complete mess, good ideas overall but wasted due to a schizophrenic writing.
    8) "The Phantom Menace", a totally messed movie. I can't say if there's something to save, maybe the sountrack only, which is still one of my favourite. I think the entire movie has to be rewritten.

    A New Hope
From start to finish, amazing movie. The plot was awesome, the characters were incredibly interesting and had amazing character interaction and chemistry with each other. Epic.

    Revenge of the Sith

Amazing music. Awesome story leading to the birth of Darth Vader. We get to see the adventures of Obi Wan. Obi Wan vs Anakin, Yoda vs The Emperor. OMG.

    The Empire Strikes Back
Man, blast goes down. Probably the best overall plot out of all the Star Wars movies. We get introduced to Lando.

    Return of the Jedi
The feel good movie with a dramatic climax. Its funny, but whenever I think back on this movie I think of C-3PO telling the IV and V story to the Ewoks.

    Clone Wars
Ignoring the romance plot and just focusing on Obi Wan's adventure makes the movie very enjoyable. We get to see the cloning facility on a all water planet and Obi Wan vs Jango Fett.

    The Phantom Menace
The hardest move for me to watch. I usually just skip to the end for Darth Maul. I love the Original Trilogy, but the universe did feel a bit empty. The Phantom Menace did a great job of filling it showing us what it was like before the empire took over. We get to see a city under water, a droid army, the Jedi Order, Coruscant, more lightsabers, Pod Racing, and so much more. This movie doesn't get enough credit for all the amazing stuff it added to the Star Wars universe.

That being said, I wish it started with Anakin as a teenager instead of a little kid. It would of been great to build the chemistry between Obi Wan and Skywalker as we tag a long on their crazy adventures. This would allow the audience to get endeared to Anakin to make his eventual fall that much more tragic. It would also make the romance easier to take in when Padme and Anakin meet at a similar age.

    The Force Awakens

This is a very entertaining movie, far more entertaining than the Phantom Menace and Clone Wars. The problem is that is has no originality. The plot feels more like a fan fic of Episode 4, but with the writer injecting them self as the main character. The battles were underwhelming.

    Rogue One
The cast was very boring and they felt foreign. They used way to much time trying to tie the story to Jyn with her daddies. Instead of trying so hard to make her story tragic, give her much needed personality. She could be the awesome charismatic leader of the team, and we don't have to use so much of the plot on her, allowing the other characters to breath.

If we got to see the Rogue One crew right of the bat in some awesome and flashy missions where they interact with each other, their camaraderie, and being badass, it would have gone a long way. There could of been a scene with them all just chillin in a Cantina having fun after their missions at the beginning of the movie. The characters would have time to be established and be far more interesting. When they actually do die, it would have a huge impact on the audience.

I really love TFA! As you can see below, it holds a pretty high spot in my ranking of Star Wars movies.

    1. A New Hope - This movie will always have a special place in my heart, and I really love watching it.

    2. Empire Strikes Back - A great movie. Deep and emotional.

    3. The Force Awakens - I love TFA! A really fun movie to watch.

    4. Return of the Jedi - I really love the parts with Luke, Vader and the Emperor, as well as the opening act at Jabba's. It's too bad the Ewoks kill so much of it!

    5. Revenge of the Sith - Deeply emotional to watch the fall of Anakin, but the movie has problems.

    6. Attack of the Clones - I like a lot about this movie, such as the fact that it is set up as a mystery and the battle scene in the third act. The romance, however, is still painful to watch to this day. Still, it is much better than Phantom Menance.

    7. Rogue One - Is this really a Star Wars movie? It doesn't feel like it to me. Flat characters that I really don't care if they live or die. Too many action movie cliches. If it wasn't for the X-wings in the third act, I wouldn't even know this was a Star Wars movie.

    8. The Phantom Menace - Just a terrible movie in every single way from beginning to end. The only redeeming part of the movie is the lightsaber battle between Qui Gon, Obi Wan and Maul. The music is great, also. But those are not enough to get me to watch this abomination of a movie again.

Just my opinion, so please don't get worked up over it or hate on me for it.

    1. ESB- iconic scenes, great characters, great lines, and solid plot.
    2. RO- like Jyn Erso, at first rough around the edges, but after getting to know it, it becomes so much more. Great action, good characters, and really nostalgic scenes.
    3. ROTS- emotional, great score, not-always-so-great acting but great characterization, and great action.
    4. ROTJ- great culmination to the the original trilogy/saga, iconic scenes, and great Luke/Vader/Emperor scenes.
    5. TFA- great score, great characters, and great scenes, but it's originality, or lack of, takes it down a couple notches. Kinda interchangeable with ROTJ.
    6. ANH- introduction to the series we all know and love, but it's a bit too dated for me. Still some very good scores, scenes, an original plot, and great characters.
    7. TPM- can be a bit dull, but for the most part, very good characters, an original spin on the original Star Wars, very good music, and some great scenes. This one and the one above are again kinda interchangeable.

    And then:
    8. AOTC- some very good scenes, mostly great Obi-Wan performance, and a couple funny moments, but is weighed down by dated effects, some poor acting, a weaker score, and unnatural love story.
    9. TCW film- introduction to the great TCW show and characters, but filled with dullness, crummy animation, plot holes, oddness, and Ahsoka was quite annoying at this stage in her character.
