SPECULATION GENERAL HUX IS LUKE SKYWALKER'S SON

    Ok so we've been lead to believe that maybe Kylo Ren is on of the skywalkers but I think that there is another and Kylo Ren is a front to this and is hiding the truth. I think there is a very clear mirroring in every bit of promotional things, General Hux. I believe that Hux is actually Luke's kid and he is sending his armies, including Ren, to find his sister/cousin Rey. My thoughts for this is that Hux has never appeared in any trailers and we only have a few pics of him, almost mirroring Luke. Next is the big one and that is the fact that he is a red head. In the legends comics Luke married a red headed girl named marra jade. I know that doesn't exist now but that doesn't mean these new stories can't draw from it. The big thing is that the director of the film is freaking J J Abrams, the man who went out of his way to make fake rumours about someone else playing Kawn in Star Trek into darkness and film completely new scenes for the trailers so that people wouldn't think Benedict was Kawn. Plus he loves his mystery box of mystery. I truly believe that this is the case and I hope it's actually true. May the force be with you and have a discussion I want to see what you people think.

    Welcome to the Cantina, @Master Destro. You're not the first to think that Hux might be Luke's son, though that theory has fallen out of favor. Personally, I don't think he is. What makes you think this is the case?

    I don't think Hux is related.


    HOWEVER, this thread just got me thinking. It's been confirmed that Hux and Kylo are vying for power among the ranks of the First Order. How cool would it be if the two of them were related? That would be cool.

    BB8 is R2's cousin who's now the astromech of Poe, who is related to Wex, who is Third generation Organa (from the mother's side) who has ties to the Hux line; which at some point in history had interspecies relations with a Wookie who later birthed Chewbacca's grandmother. Meanwhile on Dagobah, Yoda and Maz connected and formed Snoke who is really Plaguies' twin sister, who's use of the force was so overwhelming, they have to use motion capture to explain. Although intentions were good, the Kanata/Yoda fling ended because "good relations with the Wookies I have"; which leads us to Han Solo's stormtrooper past in which he enjoyed a fling or two lending his seed to birth Finn. We can go on and on, but the 17th is so close, and I'm sure we'll all be pleasantly disturbed by who's related to whom.

    Why does every character that has been introduced in the new canon have to be related to the main characters? Seriously it just makes the universe so small instead of expanding it...

    Most of it is just because of an actor's looks.

    Thus, Hux's actor looks the most like he could be Luke's son from the new cast. Then the rumor gets started he must be playing Luke's son.

    Finn's black so he must be Lando's son or Mace Windu's grandson, etc.

    I'm just saying...if every character is related to the main heroes and villians....looking at it in perspective as a writer it lacks originality. There is so much that you can explore with the new characters and take them to new interesting twisted heights that couldn't have been done before with the existing well established characters.

    Like just because Finn is black doesn't mean he could be automatically related to Lando just because he's black and that he's the main black character from the original trilogy. If you think outside the box, who knows...anyone could be Finns parents and we just haven't met them yet...

    This can be applied to Rey and Poe...and so on and so forth going forward. The star wars galaxy is supposed to be a huge universe....so...there's plenty enough room to create new stuff within it and just play...see what works and what doesn't.


    I have been writing for my big story project ...I had to make some revisions and play around with my ideas and try to come up with concepts that could work potentially and it's fun even though it requires to use your brain a lot more. Lol.
