    Then again, I think I've got this very wrong having looked at the image, and knowing the book now.....
    that we've got this completely wrong!! It's not a tank, it's a Kyber Crystal... And it's one of the focussing Crystals of the Death Star super laser. I imagine the guards are there to stop Galen sabotaging them or something like that.

    Why would they make a kyber crystal look exactly like a bacta tank? Just look at the pipes, it has to be a tank!
    Why would Galen kneel to a kyber crystal?

    It isn't. They used carbonite in The Clone Wars for the explicit purpose of suspending animation, and it was virtually the same as when Darth Vader used it over twenty years later.

    It's more what's around it, i'm not saying it's not a tank, just throwing various ideas out there. I didn't recall what the ESB one looked like, they do look similar I'll grant you. But why would the tank be so cold? There's a lot of smoke around it in the R1 trailer, which is what got me thinking...

    The planet Galen is seen on when Krennic shows up is named in the book as well.

    Not sure if discussed already (if so, please ignore) but after watching the latest supercut trailer is there more confirmation of how Jyn comes into Rebel "control"? I see it as they try to break her out, she fights them, they arrest her again and bring her to Mothma, she's freed under one condition...she helps them. Again, if already talked about sorry and if I'm way off base, please set me straight, too. I'm not wedded to this, just my two cents.

    This is the world the Ersos retreated to: Lah'mu.
    It's named after Laamu, one of the real-life tropical locations in the Maldives where Rogue One shot scenes for the planet Scarif. The filmmakers liked it so much, they named another world after it.

    In the EW picture, Vader's suit doesn't look like the one he wears in Episode IV.
