Haha. Adam's sense of humor is great. When asked to give something up for VIII. "You know I wear a mask a lot of it of it so it's mostly me crying"
1st of all. I do hope people realise he is most definetely not giving away anything. He might not be even wearing a mask "most of it" at all. But what is very interesting to me is that he chose to say that what he is doing under the mask was crying. Is that a Freudian slip? Of all the emotions one may presume Kylo could be having (anger, hate, rage) Adam chose to say that he was crying?! Now that is interesting.
Right. Only let me correct you. It is the Sex Pistols that they played, not the Ramones. (The Ramones were an American punk band after all. No reason for them to mock the British queen after all...) It's the Sex Pistols' song, bless them.

No worries. You're probably too young to know such old bands and such. Incidentally the Sex Pistols' song was released only 2 days after Star Wars (A New Hope) was released in May 1977, so as it happens they are two contemporary pop cultural phenomena with huge and lasting cultural impact. :)

EDIT: Silly typo about 1877 corrected.

    1877 ? I'm older than I thought !

But yes, it was the Sex Pistols. All my childhood !

O my, haha, silly me, I mixed the centuries. Obviously, I am the one that's that old...:p
    (Just a typo of course...)
I personally prefered Public Image Ltd. rather than the Sex Pistols...but that's still ancient history...even if it wasn't the 19th century as my typo suggested...:D

Yea me to. I'm on board with a female "sith" type of character. Long overdue but Iv'e been talking about this for a while now. I'm sure I'm way past the broken record stage.

That would be a very interesting thing for them to do and would be different then the OT and PT. See one character go from hero in movie one to villain by movie three at the same time of seeing another character go from villain in movie one to hero by movie three!

But I'd image that would probably make a few certain fans rather salty.

True. I'm skeptical that it will even turn out that way.

I'd be intruiging if Rey was a part of the "bad guys team," at least for a while. However, I don't want Ben Solo to become the hero. His allegiance to the Dark Side is still doubtful and since he's on Snoke's leash he may try to prove himself worthy in his eyes, what most likely means becoming more and more irascible. I want Kylo to be unstable, volatile, crazy - not a person, but a force of nature, a bit like Joker. Most of the Star Wars villains that I know of are menacing, I want someone different, someone terrifying.

Dark Rey vs. Ben Solo. This is happening in an alternative universe!

Empire Magazine have again updated their 'Everything you need to know about Episode 8 Guide'.

    http://www.empireonline.com/movies/features/star-wars-episode-viii-everything-need-know/

I found this bit of interest....

Pinewood Studios continues to bear the brunt of the action, with filming also taking place in Dubrovnik, County Donegal and Florida (where Boynton Beach appears to be playing the part of a new planet).

I've not been around these parts for a while, has Boynton Beach, Florida been mentioned before as a filming location??

I doubt it is because of the state of the tax incentives in florida. It would be really interesting and a first to film in the us for a star wars movie on that scale excluding ROTJ's Endor sequences though. I personally dont think it's a viable plan to shoot there but if it happens to be the case then i'd be shocked.

I think you're right. It certainly doesn't look a filming location, it's too urbanised and I don't see why they'd go all the way to Florida just for a beach. But hey you never know, if I were a Jedi Master, I might decide the sun and white sand beaches of Florida beat the steel grey skies and rough seas of Ach-To every time. :)

well the environment can easily be changed during post through VFX anyways but i guess it's a more the matter of having practical versus digital/digital extension sets

Someone needs to ask Rian about that on Twitter. He's pretty open about Episode VIII's shooting locations. Recently he even recommended some pubs in one of the Irirsh locations that he and crew were in.
