    "Reshowed footage from the end of TFA with Rey meeting Luke.

    Credit where it's due too, LFL have a good track record for using real world locations and making them appear alien/different.

    As a kid I knew what a desert was, but I watched ANH and never thought about Tatooine being anything other than another planet and likewise in a more up to date reference I didn't see Lah'mu and just think of it as Iceland. I just hope that with the snippets we've seen of TLJ locations so far that this suspension of disbelief continues... I mean just look at how weird those Bolivian scene(s) are to 21st century eyes - no obvious flora or fauna, no artificial constructs like telegraph poles, chimneys or buildings, in fact no evidence of any human or technological 'interference' (starship allowing of course).

    People generally aren't used to that kind of desolate and forbidding landscape, "What do you mean I can't buy a Big Mac, get WiFi or even just see another person?", it's alien to our culture and as such just creates a sense of being unreal - which is exactly what the filmmaker wants.


    ...now I think about it, has there been an editorial on SW locations and just how significant they are in realising and grounding (no pun intended) the 'vision' of a GFFA?

    Well, let's try to break this down:

    Mountains/Oceans - probably means Ahch-to or possibly the boat scene that was filmed in Dubrovnik?
    Forest - which of the scenes described could be on a forest planet? Chewie or Phasma?
    Desert - Dubrovnik? He didn't mention anything about a city...Maybe the new FO base?

    These images came into my attention yesterday

    and I immediately remembered the description I read on MSW about one particular world which they call “Mars with snow on it” planet http://makingstarwars.net/2017/02/preliminary-details-new-world-star-wars-last-jedi/
    They've also described it in one or two of the podcasts and if I remember correctly there they also discussed how within the planet there will be trench-like Starkiller Base structure...or something of the sort...

    There is a possibility MSW's source saw this concept art for the game and not concept art for EP VIII, but they asumed is for VIII, or the world that we will see in EP VIII is used in the game as well (also highly likely).
    To me at least when I saw the above images the combined description of what they have said in the above article and in podcasts just seemed to click...

    I haven't seen anybody else make the connection and I might be wrong in thinking there is something, but by the sound of the world they were describing I thought that those visuals fit too well for it to be just a coincidence...

    In any case, I thought I should drop by and share this. I've also sent this info to MSW since they were the only ones describing that world/planet...

    It is more likely Phasma will reveal herself again to be a character of little depth and created entirely to sell the illusion of "badassery" to gullible merchandise collectors.
