    This could possibly be the sizzle reel that SWNN was told might be shown at SWCO.

    June came and went without the expected announcement for the third standalone movie. Which I think had something to do with the problems on the HS set. But, D23 would be a good place for that announcement.

    Retarded? It is the cutest starship that has ever been present in the official SW media and if you don't think this way, then you're clearly wrong!
    I've always thought that a trailer would get an August release, just ike in RO's case. However, I wouldn't be too surprised if TLJ only gets two trailers instead of standard three. They really wnt to keep the film in as much shadow as possible.

    KK said they would have a decision made by June. I never expected an announcement then. I figured they would announce it at D23. Whether they hold off on announcing the new stand alone because of the Han Solo fiasco remind to be seen.

    So by your definition, a plot hole is when a character never explicitly says something to another even when they theoretically could have. Yeah, no.

    Artoo-Detoo never told Luke Skywalker about how he was an accessory to the slaughter of several Jedi, or the murder of a group of corrupt plutocrats who by all accounts should have stood trial for war crimes. And at no point would the droid actually need to. It doesn't make that a plot hole.
    Exactly what I was thinking. I held out a bit of hope for some footage due to the Han Solo shake-up, but it appears they aren't taking that route. Don't expect another trailer until September or October at the current rate (especially with Disney's release schedule being the way it is).

    If they are promoting the ST differently from the standalone's then I don't expect a trailer in August like R1 had. TFA only had the one domestic full trailer which was shown in October but maybe it will be different for this film. I'd like to see a trailer on Force Friday but I'm not holding my breath.

    By the way, this is the definition of plot hole:

    In fiction, a plot hole, plothole or plot error is a gap or inconsistency in a storyline that goes against the flow of logic established by the story's plot. Such inconsistencies include such things as illogical or impossible events, and statements or events that contradict earlier events in the storyline.

    Artoo flying with Yoda is illogical and contradicts the fact that in ESB Artoo tries to get Luke's food back from the crazy alien that they just met. Artoo WOULD have told Luke who he was, not attacked Yodas arm to get Luke's food.

    I mean Cewie was also kind of a d*ck for not telling Han about the most important event in the history of the Republic and its participants, the jedi, when he knew Yoda personally.
    Although I'd rather use the word contradiction, or incoherence. The PT is so full of them you can barely even call it a backstory to the OT. Rather an alternative story set in a similar universe.

    Let me ask you this: when has Han ever showed any signs about caring for Galactic Politics? Why would he need to know a thing about Yoda if he dismissed the entire practices of the Jedi as being some kind of "hokey religion"?

    Han straight-up doesn't care about anything except living from moment to moment and doing whatever to save his own skin, with occasional moments of having a conscience. That's basically his character until Luke and Leia come along.
