I’m starting to think Snoke has Luke’s green saber. I was thinking R2 had it but it makes more sense story wise imo if Kylo brought it to Snoke after burning down and essentially defeating Luke. If Luke ends up on Snoke’s destroyer, which I know a lot of people expect to happen, I think it would provide for a very climatic moment for Luke to reclaim his iconic blade right before a duel with this trilogy’s big bad.

Yeah the title is defintely clickbait. Most people jumped to the conclusion that it was a spoiler because they assumed he must be talking about Rey. However, many people are unaware of the book Bloodline by Claudia Gray that basically details that General Organa, still considered Princess Leia, hid the fact that she was Darth Vader's daughter from everyone for years. Adam's quote is basically the plot of the book. A princess (Leia) hides her identity in order to survive and continue her life as normal as she can within the Rebellion. Everyone automatically assumed Adam was referring to Rey, but it was clear that he was referring to Leia.

The author added this bit of information to the discussion:

I hate throwing the term "clickbait" around, but that's basically what this is.

A user on Reddit posted this a couple days ago in the starwarsspeculation network. It is a rumored list of the soundtrack titles for The Last Jedi. If these titles are true, they give away quite a bit about the outline of the plot. However the post is unverified and there is no proof that any of the soundtrack titles are legitimate. So take this with a grain of salt....

I always have my doubts about track listings, and this case does seem very revealing (almost, but not quite, as revealing as Qui-Gon’s Noble End). Thanks for posting, @Galaxy '77 !

If this is real, then the film could go something like this...(note that this isn’t necessarily in the order of events that we will witness in the film).
    1. Main Theme/The Supreme Leader: Opening crawl followed by Hux and Kylo arriving on The Supremacy and talking to Supreme Leader Snoke.

    2. The Galaxy Needs You: Rey asking Luke on Ahch-To to come back into the fold once again as the galaxy’s saviour.

    3. Attack on D’Qar: The First Order attacks D’Qar, likely in a space battle which then escalates into a ground battle.*

    4. Flight of the Resistance: The Resistance escape D’Qar and fly to elsewhere in the galaxy.**

    5. Poe’s Fire: Poe gives his speech, seen in the trailer, about how the Resistance are the fire that can burn the First Order down.***

    6. Porgs: I mean, we see porgs for the first time, I guess.****

    7. Order of Secrets: Luke reveals to Rey that the Jedi kept many secrets, and shows off his book collection/Rey finds his book collection.

    8. Bombs Away: the First Order, or perhaps even the Resistance, bomb...somewhere?

    9. Retaliation: the Resistance (or those bombed) retaliate to the bombing(?).

    10. Crait: The Resistance are on Crait.

    11. Welcome to Canto Bight: Finn and Rose (and Maz?) arrive in the casino city of Canto Bight.

    12. Jailbreak!/I Hope It’s Fast!: Finn and Rose (and DJ?) escape from their imprisonment and climb aboard a fathier.

    13. Tragedy: I have to assume that this is about Ben’s turn to the Dark Side, becoming Kylo and destroying Luke’s attempt at a new Jedi Order. It’s possible, however, that this could also tie-in elsewhere, perhaps to Luke’s or even Rey’s last.

    14. Master of the Knights of Ren: Kylo and/or the Knights of Ren meet or arrive on Ahch-To.

    15. The Supremacy: back aboard The Supremacy for some reason; perhaps this is the ship that Finn and Rose are infiltrating, not the Dreadnought? Or Rey has been taken here by Kylo?

    16. Heartbreak: not really sure. Rose dies or betrays Finn, I guess?

    17. Last Stand: The Resistance are going to have one last stand against the First Order on Crait.

    18. The Cold Truth: a few possibilities: Rey finds out about her parentage; Finn learns about what really happened with Rose (from Phasma?); Poe or DJ tells of some truth.

    19. Destiny: a few possibilities: Kylo/Luke is helping Rey find out her destiny, or, more likely, this is when Snoke is talking to either Rey or Kylo about fulfilling their destinies.

    20. The Prince and The Scavenger: Kylo and Rey talk, or they duel each other, or they duel together. If this is on The Supremacy, it’s possible that they’re facing off against the Praetorian Guard.

    21. Reunion: Rey meets up with Finn. Or...Luke meets up with Leia.

    22. There’s Still Good in Him/End Credits: Rey, Luke or Leia talk about there still being good left in Ben/Kylo.*****

*callback to TFA piece titled Attack on Jakku
**callback to TFA piece titled March of the Resistance
***could easily be based on what we saw in the trailer - grain of salt and all that.
****the porgs...get their own piece? Cool, but, a little odd.
*****callback to RotS, when Padmé still believes that there’s still good left in Anakin; callback to TFA, when Leia tells Han that there’s still good in their son.

Did anyone notice D'Qar is misspelled? I'm not buying that this is legit...

Yeah, I noticed that too. I don’t think a spelling mistake is enough to suggest that it’s not legitimate, but it doesn’t exactly convince anyone that it could be, either.

@Roger Roger! i think you’re right. This lines up way too specifically with what we’ve seen from trailers and heard about the film to be taken seriously, to the point that it almost depends on the trailers for some of the supposed titles, such as Poe’s Fire and Destiny.

Yeah, it just seems way too perfect. And the few titles that are vague like "Tragedy", "Heartbreak", "Destiny"... they sound too vague, random. Plus I didn't even notice until pointed out that D'Qar is misspelled... which doesn't guarantee anything, but it's just one more thing working against it. I think it'd be a safe bet to assume this isn't real.

    Urgh...journalists

Surprised we didn’t think of this sooner: Rian mentioned that he made the whole cast watch a bunch of films which influenced his writing for TLJ, and it was a massive influence on GL back in the 70’s too.

Bit though The Hidden Fortress was a massive influence on GL for ANH it wasn't (I don't think) one that RJ made the cast watch that was Three Outlaw Samurai. So I'm still not sure where AD was going with this. It almost sounds like he was comparing The Princess & Kylo Ren hiding there true identity but that doesn't really add up for TLJ the TFA sure but not TLJ.

Yeah, my bad there, though RJ didn’t let us in on all of the films that he had shown to the cast at his “film camp”, as he called it: Bridge on the River Kwai, Three Outlaw Samurai, Twelve O’Clock High and Letters Never Sent were the ones he named specifically.

However, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he showed them The Hidden Fortress too, which would explain why Adam Driver is referring to that film (of all films), and it would fit snugly into the list RJ gave us.

Yes it would & he may just like that film any way. It is still a rather odd way to bring up the film though maybe the whol article will give some more context to it. Either way the initial quote was major click bait.

Driver is also a very smart man who seems to be very well educated on film history. So it wouldn't surprise me if he just brought up the film himself because of the connection Kurosawa has to so many of the SW films through influence...

Biside that, Rian spoke about Gunga Din too...
I believe that what may have interested him is the scenario of a place (Crait base) being surrounded by enemies.
And how the people stuck inside deal with that.

May I just ask, what was the question? I see no question for the content. What did the author ask for this answer, I don't understand. I still see no context. I mean the author could be and probably is assuming but we still don't know what was asked, from this.

Kathleen Kennedy: "Yeah [Chewie's actually Rey's father], yeah. No [you don't see that coming], yeah. I know..it's...." "[Rian Johnson's] done an exceptional job of taking these new characters [from The Force Awakens] and some of the legacy characters and moving us to this next place. And I think there'll be some surprises that people aren't expecting." "We're sitting [with the Lucasfilm Story Group] down now, we're talking about the next ten years of Star Wars stories, and we're looking narratively at where that might go: future stories beyond Episode IX with these new characters: Rey, Poe, Finn, BB-8. But we're also looking at working with people that are interested in coming into the Star Wars world and taking us to places that we haven't been yet and that's exciting too, because it's a vast galaxy far, far away." "The possibilities are endless." (November 1, 2017)

The problem with this interview is it isn't laid out in a question and answer format. I'm sure the interviewer obviously asked questions to illicit a response from Driver, but we don't get to see what they are, just his answers. Maybe she asked him a question about what excites him in film? That's the only logical place to go based on the interview. And then from there he goes on to talk about the thing that everyone is losing their mind's over.

It seems we're still in somewhat of a grey area. I desperately wish the interviewer didn't just assume he spoiled something and asked for clarification.
