    The CGI of Snoke is pretty astonishing. Industrial Light&Magic did a good job with him.

    The very sad thing - IMO - is that before TLj came out, "click baits" we're all about theories and speculations.

    Press (as well as youtubers, etc...) benefited a lot from all of that.

    So did - in all truth - LF and Disney, in fact they we're pretty fine with that.
    Fine with cliks baits, fine with the "internet", etc...
    Because it kept the hype very hight.

    But the same time, that (click baits and "the internet") helped - a lot - to build those expectations that now everyone from LF to Diseny to the press itself are blaming...

    Unfortunately hype and click baits are cruel beasts.

    And now the only kind of click baits they may find are all about this sad things.
    Because if you want some click baits now, to benefit as you're used to, there's nothing left but all these sad things...

    It's not a very good moment, to be honest.

    Q: Was Rey’s fate already planned by J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan as soon as the idea of Episode VII became official ?

    DR: Here’s what I think I know. JJ wrote Episode VII, as well as drafts for VIII & IX. Then Rian Johnson arrived and wrote TLJ entirely. I believe there was some sort of general consensus on the main lines of the trilogy, but apart from that, every director writes and realizes his film in his own way. Rian Johnson and JJ Abrams met to discuss all of this, although Episode VIII is still his very own work. I believe Rian didn’t keep anything from the first draft of Episode VIII.

    The Last Jedi Extended Novelization came out today by Jason Fry and Rian Johnson. Reading it atm... and we've all heard by now that in the prologue Luke has a wife...No spoilers...but this is she. Camie.

    This scene would have made a lot of sense... if any of these Stormtroopers had survived. Otherwise there's not really a point in setting up the fact that there are FO members that know of Phasma's betrayal if the payoff comes up immediately... in form of Phasma killing all the witnesses. Would I complain if this is how the events turned out? No! But I do understand why it was left on the cutting floor. Also, I like the "Rebel scum" line a bit more in the reshot version.

    So all the deleted scenes and documentaries are released along with the digital version? If so, this kind of sucks for those who have to wait for the worldwide release or those who want to wait for the Blu-ray (and don't want to buy the same film twice), because all the cool stuff will be shared on social media and forums. I, for example, will have to wait for Blu-ray until the end of April.

    Because if they did, there would be no chance of a Phasma return for EP IX. But it was cool!

    Rian Johnson on Phasma's potential return for EP IX: “Phasma is the Kenny from South Park of this series,”

    Gwendoline Christie on Phasma's return for EP IX: “In truth, I don’t know. And that scares and upsets me because I really want to see this character explored.     another deleted scene showcased, this is why im not buying the blu-ray, just downloading the 4k version pre-ordered, all the additional material will be online minus the commentary, i'll wait for 9 box set after ep.9.
