Harry and his site have been quiet on the TFA news and articles until now. I don't think it's an attention grab. I think for the first time we've had some cool visuals to connect all the leaked reports. Putting images to the rumors so to speak. I hope he knows more than MSW about Luke. I'd say regardless of his "has been" status, he's got more/better connections than Jason Ward.

    Staying optimistic!

Harry Knowles said the name of the movie is "The Ancient Fear." He knows nothing.

This is just Harry Knowles desperately trying to cling to his decade old credibility. These aren't the spoilers you're looking for. Move along.

As others have said, Harry doesn't know blast. Ain't It Cool is a shell of its former self, and like many of you I have been a reader since the 90s!

MSW, Ep7News and Latino Review are the real sources for Star Wars intel now and Harry knows it.

Why a gone would trust a word he says (or care for that matter) after the Kickstarter debacle is beyond me. I find the fact that he released 3 episodes of a mega-half assed version of what the Kickstarter backers paid for is extra insulting. His episode he released for the Oscars this year covered Gravity and the Oscars of LAST year LOL!

Ep7News and MSW are the real deal and Harry knows it.

Harry's made many mistakes. His site IS a shell of what it once was. But his enthusiasm is real. And so are his connections.

DO I think its 100% safe to believe what he is writing? Absolutely not. But to dismiss everything he says because he has been proven wrong before ignores his lengthy track record of being right. Yes he lets his ego get in the way. He is clearly biased in his writing. But Harry, and AICN in general, has proven sources for Star Wars in the past. People do send him stuff.

So, is it possible that he actually was given information? Absolutely. Harry exaggerates and miscalculates. But I don't think he makes things up. What he is reporting here I believe he thinks is true. So, it could very well be so. Or equally, it may not.

For me, the tell that he doesn't know anything new is that he doesn't offer anything new in way of proof. Nearly every single thing highlighted in the OP is known to those that follow TFA spoilers closely.

He hides behind comments of not want to spoil the movie, which is mind boggling. Like that ever stopped him a decade ago. If he knows as much as he claims, surely he could offer something new in way of proof that doesn't ruin the entire movie for anyone.

From what I know from Harry's writing. Harry prizes his relationships with filmmakers over the integrity of his site. It would not surprise me for a second to learn that he was holding back because JJ or KK asked him to rather than serve to bring his site back to the forefront of movie news where it should be.

You hit the nail on the head Max. Well said.

The reason I posted his review was because their were some new items that were eluded too.

What does he mean by his comments about Luke and an "old friend"?

What about the reveal of MVS character? We just heard from the Reddit poster that MVS plays a SSD captain that goes down on Jakku and establishes a settlement. Harry seems to think this character will be revealed as someone we already know.

Admiral Piett? We never actually saw him die. Maybe he got out in an escape pod? And also, could breath in the vacuum of space...and survive an A wing exploding on top of him...

hey if Maul came back...anyone can.

I don't take issue with you posting the review. Anything that generates discussion here is worthwhile. I just don't find those two tidbits or anything else in it to be particularly noteworthy.

What does he mean by his comments about Luke and an "old friend"?

Luke talks to Han. Wow! He's really going out on a limb there. ;)

What about the reveal of MVS character?

What reveal of MVS character? He revealed nothing. It has been rumored for some time that MVS character plays and older version of a pre-established character. It is literally nothing new.

I feel like this is a very sound choice but I don't think I'm going to be like "oh that's so cool!" if its one of the star destroyer captains we know. I'll be like "hmm cool".

Maybe its just me. Piett has always been one of my favorite characters. he and Wedge are two sides of the same coin. The everyman who is just skilled/diplomatic enough to survive and reach the top. Those background character arcs are one of my favorite parts of SW.

General Veers maybe, all those AT-AT, could be in the right age, and the generic looks like whoever argument. He was close to Vader in his Medical Pot, where he was first shown without Mask.

Does anyone really think Luke has ONE scene??? I sure don't. He may not be seen until the final third of the film. possibly... but ONE scene? No.

I don't think MSW has good sources. Half their rumors don't make any sense.
