    So am I correct in understanding that Jun basically has the Imperial Agent class from TOR, but is aligned with the Republic? What is Missy then?

    Yeah, that was my initial concept. A "Republic Agent", so to speak. I also planned an "Imperial Trooper" at some point; but the concept eventually became what we now know as RUSTIN COAL.

    Missy... is special. She's got scientific gizmos and hacking tools, which initially placed her in the Operative camp - but she's not really an agent like Jun in terms of behavior or occupation. For the sake of "pseudo gameplay", I personally consider her a Scoundrel with Imperial leanings instead of Republic. It places an interesting parallel between our four protagonists at least, where:

    Doop = Jedi Sentinel
    Saber     = Sith Juggernaut
    Missy     = Scoundrel
    Jun     = Sniper

    So, essentially we have a pair of Might-based Force Sensitives and Cunning-based Non Force Sensitives. I mostly went with the characters themselves, and never really focused on their class much when doing their design. Sometime during Chapter 1, I realized I wanted to tell this story using five unique perspectives.

    • Doop is our hero; unaffiliated with any particular order or faction; only thing that really defines him is his Force Sensitivity (and there's a particular reason in his backstory on WHY he's able to use the Force too).
    • Saber was needed to offer the perspective of an Imperial and a Sith Lord (I love the fact that we made him lightsided in the end, it really deepens this dynamic all the more and it's something I'd like to explore with the character over the adventure).
    • Missy was needed to offer the perspective of the Chiss Ascendancy (mainly due to the way the people interacted with them in the Prologue; these guys are now in it for the long run as a legit "third faction" in place of the Eternal Empire from SWTOR).
    • Jun is needed for the perspective of a Republic commoner, to counter Darth Saber's perspective. I doubt Saber will mind Jun's faction choices should they ever meet; but Jun most definitely would.
    • That leaves us with one perspective missing (since Saber also fills the Sith Order slot) - the perspective of a Jedi Order member - because, let's face it, Doop's a Jedi in name only. This slot is reserved for our eventual Jedi Consular protagonist who'll be introduced sometime in Act 2. You totally saw him already, by the way.
