    Well, the director of GOTG wants to focus on star lord growing up in the 70's and only see the earth in the 70's it goes to the clothing, the music and a lot of things. I wouldn't be surprised if she used that element in the poster. Making it represent something a 10 year old kid in 70's would love to see all the time and never tire from it.

    Yeah since the actor isn't even 40 it wouldn't make sense for him to be playing someone in their mid 50s

    I was confusing it with his mom actually he was raised in the 80s with 70s music but it still works actually because the poster has some 80s tones in it. Like the neon writing for example
