SPECULATION Let's talk about phase 2

I feel that Spinoffs will get more of a push due to RO's fantastic box office performance, which is already performing better than I could have hoped.

Also, I wonder if somebody at Disney realized: "hey, we can turn each spinoff into a trilogy of its own," (ok maybe not RO, but Han Solo can easily be two, three, or four films.)

 

I'd rather see a High-end 10 episode live action TV series.

 

I would like to see The Adventures of JarJar Binks in Endor...ha ha

 

The Old Republic that includes Revan, Bastila and perhaps later down the road, Lana and Theron, Darth Malgus, Darth Marr, Jedi Master Satele Shan....droids like HK-47 and HK-55. Characters like Blizz (a jawa) that is funny and have such creatures at your side like the Taunlet....he's so cute. lols. If you play SWTOR, you know what I mean. heh. Bouny hunters like Shae Visla although, she's of Mandalor.

 

When I clicked on this thread, I thought we were just talking about the Phase 2 Clone armor! But anyway, I could see us getting some sequel trilogy related spin-off movies down the line, especially if there will be another trilogy after this one.

 

"Phase 2"? We're using terms from the Marvel films now?

 

How about a Netflix series about the Guardians of the Whills? You know something like the librarians or a Sherlock Holmes type of guardian that deal with the facts and the fiction around the Journal of the Whills. A story that could follow Cherwitz and Baze ( I hope I spelled them correctly) in their earlier days. The journals could eventually help lead Luke down the path of re-construction of a new Jedi training facilities. A man.....my chemo brain is starting to set in...please forgive me, I think someone has already posted something like this. I will try to keep my head in the game for as long as I can, but don't boot me or kick me out. I do have a legit reason for my noodle to go limp and loose from time to time...LOL.

 

Actually, Kenobi made it pretty clear in ANH that he had not only been to Mos Eisley before, but that he knew exactly where to charter the best freighter pilots. Only reason he'd know that would be if he'd chartered a flight himself at some point.

I don't think he was constantly leaving Tatooine, but in 20 years he appears to have left the planet at least once.

IMHO, a western-style frontier adventure set entirely on Tatooine would work just fine, though. I actually quite enjoyed the "Kenobi" novel that came out awhile back, and it was exactly this kind of story.
