This is a thought that occurred to me. Kinda Indiana Jones'ish. Didn't Rian Johnson say that he has watched a LOT of the Temple of Doom in prep for this movie?

In building on this theory, maybe Luke wasnt able to enter the temple and was stopped by traps. Therefore Luke and Rey have to enter the temple TOGETHER...MUCH LIKE MAUL AND EZRA DID AT THE SITH TEMPLE on Rebels.

In addition, once in the temple, Rey gets that Kyber she needs to light up her staff.

I believe he mentioned Raiders of the Lost Ark instead, but that doesn't really matter that much. However, I'm convinced that on Ahch-To we're going to get a lot of Indiana Jones-esque moments like puzzle solving, avoiding traps, learning about ancient culture, etc.

A thought occurred to me with the mentioning of puzzles and traps. Not that Luke doesn't remember but maybe once you come to Ach-To it's hard to leave and it isn't easy.

Maybe the population there that guards it is like how the Ewoks seen 3PO. Like a God.

Not necessarily. I'm sure there's alot more things there than just that. Like on Dagobah.

NO, this is funny and outlandish, RJ is a great filmmaker. The audience has waited too long for Luke. I think he will be the new Ben Kenobi. His tales will entice us just like Ben did in ANH. A clueless Luke haha ridiculous...
