    I don't believe the name of the island has been released anywhere in canon; but I believe we are lead to assume it contains the First Jedi Temple.

    Well, personally, I interpreted the line on the map as a route left by Luke intentionally in Artoo so he could be found at some point that he thought it was necessary to be found...by the right person at the right time?

    Also, Rakata Prime is very close to Jakku. It's surely on the star map. So, maybe Luke's planet is on a watery planet in "a galaxy far far away" from where the main events from TFA take place?
