SPECULATION Mace Windu and his role in ep 7 and beyond

Omg there have been debates about wether Finn might be Lukes son, resurrected Darth Plagueis and about the egologic value of grasshoper plagues and then this is a weird theory? A part from the C3PO part this is actually one of the more plausible things I've read here. He could have survived the fall.

 

No one survives this then the fall as Mace would put it.....

 

This is more plausible then the Darth Plagius nonsense.

 

I would like to see Mace Windu, Anakin and Padme again in ST.

 

I'm not sure if he was alive to begin with.

The prequels made Samuel L. Jackson boring, I didn't think it was possible.

He had stayed dead for years, he couldn't arrest a sith lord, couldn't give Anakin the rank he wanted, I agree Mace was humbled compared to TCW.

 

While I don't think we'll see him again in the main movies (mainly because the character would be ancient), he could still show up in books...

 

Wh...what?! This might be the most insane fan theory yet. Mace Windu is dead. Not only did he get thrown across an entire city and fall thousands of stories, he got his arms chopped off and also got the force lightning from Palpatine. He's dead.

 

Mace Windu didn't get thrown across a city...more like a city block. Mind you the city has plenty of speeder traffic which could have caught him...
He didn't have his "arms" chopped off, just his arm.
Luke got the lightning too, he survived.
How about Darth Maul? He was cut in half, and fell down that chasm on Naboo. He survived in the canon, so why can't Mace?

 

How come Luke took the Lightning way better than mace?

What if Mace Windu had a family? A sister, brother, (doubt he had kids)? Perhaps Finn is descended from the Windu clan. It would explain his force and saber prowess and why they are keeping his last name secret. Let's face it, the name must be recognizable with the common masses, and I doubt he's a calrissian and I doubt an interracial heritage based on Boyega'd obviously non mixed complexion

I agree. Finn as Mace Windu relative, would be cool.

Like I said before I liked Mace Windu. He was a awesome jedi in my opinion. But I do not think that he is alive. But some Flashback or hologram with him in ST or spin off movies would be cool.

 

If you "kill" a person in a star wars movie I am against the creation of the, "oh, no wait, he survived ALL THAT!!" excuse to bring them back. Strikes me as fan fiction. The more time goes by the more I think the concept that Maul survived is absolutely ludicrous. Cheap fan service. Mace Windu would have been, what...asleep during the events of the OT? WTF wouldn't he help? He would be pissed at Anakin/Vader. Based on what we know about his character wouldn't he be hell bent on stopping the Empire in its tracks, or helping the person who did. It's just lazy storytelling to bring Mace Windu just because you can't come up with another compelling character to add to the universe. It makes the universe, yet again, smaller. Let's bring in a Jedi who survived the purge. One we have never heard of. Someone (not him, but) like Kanan. Someone who abandoned the Jedi way after the Jedi Purge. That would be more welcome to me than MAce Windu surviving.
