I agree, can't wait for it to be released. Glad it's coming out on my birthday, 28th October.

Hard to make a choice there because I honestly don't feel like I can't wait for the next movie. I'll see all of them and own all of them, just wait until the hit blue ray. I'll pick Inhumans just because I want to know how they will take the place of the X-Men

What coincidence for you both, I've booked that off now, no work interference in my important movie viewing.

So, apparently Fenrir, Surtur and possibly the Eternals will be joining Thor, Hulk, Loki, Odin, Heimdall, Hela, Skurge the Executioner, Valkyrie and the Grandmaster for Thor: Ragnarok. Now, the inclusion of Surtur and Fenrir makes sense as Raganrok is apparently going to increase Thor's power. So, assuming that Thor gains access to the Odinforce, then chances are that Fenrir will be there to fulfill his prophecy: killing Odin. Fire Lord Surtur makes sense, as he is the beast that brings on the apocalypse. Chances are that he works with/ for Hela, alongside Skurge.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how the Eternals would fit in though, unless Thanos is woven into the story as well. He still has to retrieve the Tesseract from Odin's treasure vault, and with an apocalypse brewing I smell opportunity. The MCU loves to simplify things, and I wouldn't put it past Marvel Studios to merge Death with Hela.

Oh, and the new title design for anyone who didn't know:

Funny as well that loads of shows come back in that week, lots to watch. At least I'm off during that time.

I can't remember the name but isn't there a character who takes the title of Thor for a short period of time. Cause there was a picture with Chris Hemsworth with a normal hammer. Couldn't he appear in the film as well?

    Beta Ray Bill.

The hammer most likely represents the rebuilding of Asgard, or a period of unworthiness for Thor.

As a possible easter egg. There's already plenty of characters in the film, but we could catch a glimpse of him in The Grandmaster's arena. Sometimes people spam Taika Waititi's twitter posts with Beta Ray Bill after all.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if Thanos is in this one because, as he said in GotG, "I'll do it myself."

Potentially major spoilers for Doctor Strange:

Remember this street photo involving Kaecilius?
Now tell me, is he the big bad of the film? Or is it something like Dormammu?

People are obviously reading too much into what is most likely a passing reference or minor cameo. Remember, Ragnarok is taking place at the same time as Civil War, so the Doctor Strange film has not chronologically occurred yet. Strange will not become the Sorcerer Supreme until later. If he does appear, then it will probably be not to fight alongside them, but offer services of the kind only he can provide.

I'm more interested in Thor's cane. An obvious easter egg to the comics, in which he uses one to turn human and back to Asgardian. Will this factor into the plot, and is it why he can casually walk around 'NY' without what looks like anyone paying any attention to him?

Bugger, there goes my theory :D.

How do you think they're going to get around the fact that the Fenris Wolf is Loki's son in the comics, considering that Asgardians don't use magic in the MCU? Is he going to get a new origin? Is Loki's magic real magic or Asgardian science?

Oh I had no idea that Thor 3 takes place at the same time as Civil War.

I haven't seen that pic of him with the cane. Great comic reference!
