Yeah, I have a feeling Norman Osborn's debut as the Green Goblin will be saved for a team-up film in the future e.g. Sinister Six, Dark Avengers, or Masters of Evil. He seems too big to just feature in one of the trilogy films. I'm picturing him as more of a puppet master in the shadows ala Thanos or Zemo.

Which is exactly what I've heard. The story goes that Norman Osborn is the boss of Adrian Toomes, and is the reason why Toomes turns into the Vulture (which later causes him to target Osborn).

By "conscience" I'd rather say he meant unjustified violence. Also I wouldn't say the violence in his movies (at least in the ones he directed) detracts from the story. On contrary, the violence has always been integral part of his way of storytelling, and its always justified. Its a tool to tell a story, while (according to him) the MCU just shows violence for the sake of effects and action.
Although I really dont know why is he complaining (aside from the fact that DS smashed HR). Everyone knows that the MCU flicks are not art, just cheap entertainment.

Well, might as well throw my own two cents into this convo...

    Ah, Mr. Gibson..
“To talk about the violence question, look at any Marvel movie. They’re more violent than anything that I’ve done, but [in my movies,] you give a s--- about the characters, which makes it matter more. That’s all I’ll say.”

Of course, you care more about a two-bit thug trying to extort money than you do, say..

    or

    and let's not forget

    And that's all I'll say...:p

So it sounds like they're taking the HBO route with the show - high production values for each episode at the cost of fewer episodes in a season.

It definitely seems like this is an Ike Perlmutter decision and not a Kevin Feige one. The rumor is that Perlmutter only greenlit Black Panther and Captain Marvel in exchange for Feige cramming an Inhumans movie into Phase 3 (since, at the time, Feige had to answer to Perlmutter before Disney gave him that huge promotion). It's pretty clear based on Marvel's output that Perlmutter has a huge boner for Inhumans as a property and that he wants it to be the new X-Men - so perhaps the format of making it "big-event" TV is for the best if it allows Marvel Studios to focus on their existing movie franchises.

I won't be surprised if a Doctor Strange 2 takes the place of Inhumans.

As far as a 2019 release date goes, Sony made it clear from internal documents that they wanted a Spider-Man sequel out in that time period after their 2017 movie was released. (This being before they tied the knot with Marvel.) I think it's likely that they'll still go with that, given that such a plan is a bit independent from what Kevin Feige has in mind (it's not a spoiler to say that Spider-Man survives the next two Avengers movies, because come on).

I wouldn't either. 49.5% drop. That's the best comic book movie drop of the year. Beats Civil War by 10 points, Deadpool by ~8.
You know, I said it with TFA and I'll say it here too.. when you copy "awesome"... You get "awesome".

And it turns out that I was just seeing things. There is a logo on the building, but it's not Oscorp - I think it's some kind of product placement.

But! There is some good news for Spider-Fans - the first Homecoming trailer could drop with Rogue One.

Spider-Man: Homecoming just had more footage shown at a Brazilian Comic-Con, with the announcement that the trailer would be arriving soon. Then the Guardians Of The Galaxy: Volume 2 trailer hit, meaning that the Spider-Man trailer could drop as soon as next week, and both trailers could fit in front of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

What a time to be alive.

Pomo, Inhumans movie is canceled and will be a TV show. There is still no date for it except sometime in 2017.
