When Han and Chewie enter the Falcon and go "We're home"

It gave me the nostalgia giggles

Also hearing Han Solo tell Rey and Finn that it's all true, the dark side, and the force, all of it. He was the biggest skeptic of the force back in ANH, and now to see him do a complete 180 on that thought showed how far he's gotten

this scene occurred so strangely! It had much more impact when I saw it in the trailer, rather than the film.

I think people's dislike for this line is irrational or overblown. What's wrong with it? Kylo just searched for every bit of anger and "traitor" Finn provided just that. Sure, it sounds cheesy, but so are many other things in the Saga that got overlooked or justified. Occasional cheese is common for Star Wars and definitely common for every fantasy work which SW definitely is, in a big way.

Yeah! Me too! Trailer scene was more in the moment whereas the film version was more like "go with a flow". Still, if a trailer version was in the film instead it could have been felt out of place, atleast for a bit.

I'm sorry, guy. The Force Awakens Script is explicit:
The stormtrooper who handles a mace yells "Traitor" to Finn, not Kylo.

Umm... yeah, indeed. I agree. But this is not what I was referring to.

Kylo also yelled "Traitor!" to Finn before Finn took the lightsaber to fight him. It's after Kylo throws Rey to a tree and Finn worries over her.

The reason for my reaction was not because I thought it was cheesy, but it was a pure "Pot called the kettle black" moment: Kylo had just commited patricide towards a man who loved him unconditionally. If he wanted to see a traitor, he should look into a mirror...

Just saw the movie again and yes, he does after throwing Rey to the tree, and Finn goes and check on her, Kylo walks towards them and yells at him: "TRAITOR!!!".

i'm okay with cheese and i can even live with this line, but i do think it's too much an echo of TR-8R back on Takodana. one or the other. having both is kinda what felt like overkill to me. also, it's one of Kylo Ren's more petulant lines, which feels strangely out of character when you look at his behavior throughout the rest of the film.

Kylo Ren talking to Vaders helmet.
Kylo Ren, Hux and Snoke. *If Skywalker returns the new jedi will rise.*
Kylo ren and Snoke. There has been an awakening have you felt it ?? Yes.
Rey opening the box and finds Luke Skywalker's lightsaber.

I waited 32 years to get chills again in a SW movie as the PT just never clicked with me on an emotional level. These are my top 5 from TFA:

    1. Rey putting on the Rebellion helmet and looking out at the sky reminiscent of Luke looking at the Binary Sunset.

    2. Han walking up to the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon and giving a quick smile that the ship is his again.

    3. Han & Rey's exchange when he gives her a blaster and offers her a job. I love her smile when he says Chewy kind of likes you.

    4. When Rey forcegrabs the lightsaber from Kylo and the great Williams score plays. Probably the best moment of the movie.

    5. Of course when Rey sees Luke and he takes his hood off. Pure brilliance.

    1. The Opening (seeing the LucasFilm logo once again) it felt right.
    2. Rey and Finn's escape from Jakku "what that!?! it's a piece of junk .. it hasn't flown in years.. " - Rey (music swells then boom the Falcon)
    3. "The March of the Resistance" "We have incoming at point 2.8.6", and the anticipation that ensues between Han & Leia (as soon as Han says it's the Resistance) you saw Chewbacca act differently. Great 3 minute sequence.
    4. Ben and Han's heartful plea and his death. I will forever be saddened by it. Chewbacca was a BOSS!! immediately following killing 7 stormtroopers, and injuring Ben all the while damaging the reactor with the explosives.
    5. The Force Theme, Rey and the lightsabers choice. (simply put a great cinematic shot)

It was the Burning Homestead arrangement for the Force theme that sealed the deal for me. They could've just used the generic Force theme arrangement, but they went with that one, and the last time we heard that was when a Skywalker realized they could no longer run from their destiny.

The opening crawl: Luke Skywalker has vanished.

"Yeah, I knew him. I knew Luke."

X-Wings coming across the water with March of the Resistance in the background and Poe destroying TIEs and stormtroopers.

    Han and Leia.

"Ben!" and the entire scene on the bridge.

Lightsaber flying to Rey's hand with Burning Homestead in the background. Kylo's face when that happens. Fist pump moment.

Jedi Steps and Luke's reveal while music builds.

    I'm sure I'll remember more. :)

Most definitely when Finn told Solo about how "he's carrying a map to Luke Skywalker" and he just freezes in his tracks.
Then says "Yeah I knew him. I knew Luke..." CHILLSSS EVERYTIME.

Wow, I didn't expect such a variety of moments listed here. The movie really is a great cinema experience.

    Certainly:
    - "BEN!"
    - Subsequent lightsaber through Han's heart left my entire body tensed for about 2 minutes after that, pure shock (even though we all knew it was coming - there's a reason why the film was nominated for Best Editing even though it goes way too fast in the last half, that scene was edited to perfection).
    - Rey's flip of the Falcon leading Finn's cannons to line up perfectly to fire at the TIE....omg that was the Force awakening right there.
    - The entire introduction of Rey.
    - Poe and Finn's Escape
    - Lightsaber hitting Rey's hand during the final confrontation
    - Rey tapping in

Awesome, what a time to be alive.

All great moments that gave me chills too!

I'd like to add 4 more moments:

    - Finn in the Millennium Falcon's gunner seat shooting at Tie-fighters.
    - Rey piloting the Falcion into the nifty upside mode so that Finn could shoot down the Tie-fighter (an oooooh moment for me)
    - Poe taking out (at least?) six Tie fighters and several stormtroopers all in one continuous swoop on Takodana ("That's one h*ll of a pilot!")
-The Jedi Steps and Finale music gave me goosebumps

*nods* I had a similar reaction during Hux's speech. I wasn't as sold on Hux as a baddie up until that moment. As the speech progressed, I thought "This guy is going full on fascist! Oh my..." After that, I was sold. Dom did a great job.
