Reffering to people with more than one favorite I changed the voting mode. You can choose your "top three" now.

    To me it's Ackbar.

Those mon Calamari ships were like Picasso paintings before the rebellion ruined those flawless silhouettes with gun pods and other additions necessary to stand against star destroyers. He helped bring that key group into the fold before Endor, then helped plan and lead the assault on DS 2.0. He remained a key part of the attack force when they became the prey then the hunter once more. He was always practical and aware of the situation. He was able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and remained in the fight for decades, not quitting or playing dead.

Honestly, he makes Yoda, Qui Gon, and Amidala look like one of those battle droid foot soldiers.

    I'm 85% serious with this. Maybe 95

I disagree! Obi-Wan, I think is one of the more flawed characters! Where many characters flaws are so blatant --- Han is a criminal, Darth Vader is evil --- Obi-Wan is complex. He lies to Luke. He fails Anakin. He's torn by the loss of his master. He's distraught by the descent of his brother (Anakin). I think he appears very straightforward but is actually very dynamic, where other characters seem dynamic but are actually very straightforward.

    Just my two cents.

You choose "hard" expressions writing about lies and failures that Kenobi seems to be responsible for because he did everything with good intentions or based on promisses he made, but you made a good point. I did not mean him to be a simple character. My impression was that he deeply believed in the Jedi codex and the republik. You are right that we got some interresting background stories from him since OT and PT (for ex in CW) that showed new facets of his personality. I think my "personal filters" just lead me to a more or less "easier" identfication with the Skywalker twins:)
